I'll keep my eyes peeled as I'm cruising through town tomorrow....................

No flies in that deal or rig. Load up some 80gr TTSX Barnes bullets and kill deer..........

I don't do many all day sits until the heat of the rut and then it's not that often. My buddy who's land I hunt, bed I sleep in and booze I drink needs help with fall chores and I'm "it". When I do sit all day it's after the work is done or there's things I can do after dark. I like a overcast day, cool temps and maybe a little drizzle................oh baby!

I don't know why you'd be all that impressed with BP..........same/same. Cabela's is good to do some browsing and comparison shopping, burning Club Points too. Nobody in Buffalo or WNY has the selection of shoes and soft goods either. Doubting F&S has a fraction of that stuff?? Wish we'd get a Sportsman's Warehouse............

If I had to hold my bow all the time I'd quit, honest. What do you do when the temperature drops to the teens or lower? Toss in some wind and a 15mph breeze.......... Why not use a Realtree EZHanger? Good heavens, the bow hangs right in front of you and is easy as pie to get........... (All this said, I don't hunt from ground blinds, huts, etc etc. Only tree stands.)

I'd sure like to see more pics of him..........wow.

No wonder they are so skinny, chasing wild game across the countryside on foot. Hope they packed a lunch 'cause 10,000 dudes ain't dining on a couple dik dik. The elephant and hippos have to be pretty few and far between! Think of the damage they could do with a 375 H&H and a couple boxes of old Silvertips.......

40 years of bow hunting for me; I DIDN'T kill one the first, second or third years of bow hunting. I've had 4 compound bows in those years but about 4-6 "traditional" bows. Killed with every bow I've hunted with.......... I know very very little about all those technical terms too Larry, just enough to get 'er done.

Busy day at work bizzy?????? (me too, posting from the office manager's office)

Not a chance you'd get me to do either of those things! My biggest gamble is one donut or two............

Anyone find a Lowrance Elite 7 HDI or Fish Hawk
Lawdwaz replied to moog5050's topic in General Chit Chat
Funny, I just read this post and laughed as I knew where they'd be. Last year at some point The_Real_TCIII lost some binos. I don't recall if the "Notice Of Lost Gear" came to me via the open forum, a PM or text message but within a few minutes I chimed in where they could be found. A gear bag also, IIRC is where his were to turn up. The gear bag thing is just a coincidence, I'd have sniffed them out either way. I do these little things all the time. Should anyone else have a piece of sporting gear come up MIA, channel me and I'll put you on to them, thus saving you mega bucks. Cannot help with things like "lost virginity" though............. -
Nice rig! (love the dangling drain plug!!) So where are you planning to use this set up?

YOU are a firecracker growie.

Nice! -
Between Canadice and East Aurora I think I have 5 up but utilize the climber fairly often. That's bowhunting..........gun I have others from box blind on the ground and elevated. Also a slew of ladder stands.

I was ALMOST in the market for a 2017 truck.............. Last Saturday I had the boat hooked up to my Tacoma (2011 w/97,000 miles) and as we got on the 290 my wife said "WTH is that noise? I didn't hear it at first but then noticed it. I couldn't pin point what it was but it seemed to be coming from the right rear of the truck. I got off the 990 at N French and unhooked the boat at a friends gymnastics studio and jumped back on the 990 to be sure it wasn't the boat trailer although I hoped liked like hell it was! The trailer would be easier/cheaper usually than the truck........ Well, it was the truck. It still made the noise and it was a very intermittent one at that. IT seemed like only over 65 or so before it'd make this strange metallic sound. I went back and got the trailer, hauled it home via back roads. We swapped over to the wife's Rav4 and used that for hauling, no sweat. Today I took the truck to the local fixit shop and after explaining things and even going for a test drive (of course it didn't do it then) with one of the grease monkeys (said lovingly) I let them do some snooping. Before I left, I said that I kind of thought it could be a u-joint issue (not likely but maybe) or rear end as that's kind of where the sound seemed to be coming from. Then as a I was walking out the door I said, hmm....maybe exhaust system?? Well they called an hour later and said yes, it was in the exhaust system; a heat shield had come loose in a couple contact points and would occasionally make a vibrating sound! That my friends is the SECOND time heat shields have scared the crap out of me with that truck. The other time was when I was in Geneseo on my way down to Canadice for some frolicking and all of a sudden in front of Wegmans at the traffic light I hear this horrible rattling. I thought my tranny took a dump on me! After getting into the Mobil station (I think that's what it is just to the east....) I slid under the beast and found the source..........silly me, no worries there! So long story short, I don't need (want yes, need no) a new ride. I did go snooping around the dealers lot last night under the cover of darkness though............ The truck has been terrific as I've mentioned here in the past. 97K and all I've done is front brakes.........
