  1. Wow, $20 for a deer hide! Who is paying that price?
  2. 67 and dark here. Even warmer under the sheets but need to get up, shower and put on one layer. Then off to work...... Good luck to those hunting today!
  3. Looks like three different guys pictured? Congrats to all of you!!
  4. Hate to bust into the "breaking news" of another mass shooting but hey, it's YOUR birthday. I hope your day has been good!
  5. I'm two years into a three year membership and will certainly re-up in a year. Great organizational IMO.
  6. Going to hunt deer in East Aurora I think or i'd love to go. Thanks for the offer though!
  7. Damn, I think I need a new computer. I'll can't tell what it is? (although I know WTF is PROBABLY going on!) I'll add this; yesterday I drove from Tioga County PA to home and saw a ton of dead deer on the highway. Smooshed, smashed, splattered and scattered........what a terrible waste and horrid way to die for those beautiful critters.
  8. PA was a bust for me and 9/10 guys that I know that hunt there. The lone buck killer killed a nice 9pt.........I had a 4 pt @ 20 yards. Lovely.................. A few of the guys NEVER saw a deer up on the State Game Lands in Tioga. Just wait, NEXT year it'll be really good....................................

If it was free...........................I still wouldn't want it. One mans opinion is all this is. LOL
  10. Sweet! Sounds like a fun time, we don't always need to kill a deer to have a successful trip!! What kind of tree stand were you in?
  11. Oh gripes....now you've sucked me in too. Clueless but look forward to the answer.
  12. Good luck to you too Dan. I'm in my fart sack as I type this.......... Sweet dreams!!
  13. Hey Red......how much pork did they add to the ground? (If they did)
  14. You wouldn't want to know how much my deer yield after my butchering...............I trim heavily.
  15. Sold out here in WNY at the Walden Ave location of Ollies.
  16. I know, but I thought for the cabbage these could go in a few less secure spots but alas; I'm now posting from the Walden Ave location of Ollies and they sold out 5 minutes ago. Damn the luck......... We'll have to talk cell cam particulars shortly after the holidays.
  17. I'm going to Ollies RTFN.....................................
  18. It's all "load" dependent.
  19. When I had my own business I could schedule around butchering, now that I'm the employee it is much more of a pain. I agree, it's not a fun project and is a lot of work. You guys that say you can do one in a few hours are my hero........!! It takes me 8 hours to do an adult deer with all the trimming and grinding. That includes skinning and all cleanup.
  20. Disposing of the parts can be the biggest pain in the azz. Where are you doing the skinning? That isn't always an easy find....... Bringing the hind quarters, shoulders, back straps and trimmings in and sorting them takes space to. Get yourself a BIG ass cutting board. Are you grinding?
  21. Really, who doesn't love a nice rack?
