For hunting purposes, I don't worry too much about a cold bore shot difference. A fouled bore concerns me more......after cleaning, I like to take a fouling shot before starting group shots. If a gun is bedded properly, cold bore shots shouldn't differ from a warm bore.

I just started to watch his show. The DVR (if not bypassed by my kids!) records the shows. Watched part 1 of a 2 part series last night on grizzly hunting. A VERY hairy charge from a female griz got a bit sporty early on. The video link above was well done, almost scripted??

Ohhhh pleeeaaaaasssssseeee. It ain't THAT cold here.........I think 3 tonight. I am sooo sick of this winter. Tomorrow mornings job will be a challenge but failure is NOT an option.

Who's packing one? I still have my first and only snub nose, a S&W Model 37. Blued, airweight .38 with the exposed hammer. Anybody have a S&W 442, 432, 642 or a 340? I sure like my 37 but I'm thinking about a hammerless version. Oh, the 432 is a 32 H&R, pretty cool little piece. Anybody have an old Colt snubby? What's yours??

For almost 30 years I've been seeing them in Amherst still hanging onto their gear until mid March. I know plenty drop them way before that but far from all of them..............

Years ago when I did shoot recurves and long bows I used G Fred Asbel's glove. Later on Bighorn Bow Company them. They held up very well.

Lots of guys these days are twisting 1-8 on custom builds to shoot 105gr bullets. They say they'll shoot any and all weights but really shine with the 105's. Mine is 1-10 twist and I'm hunky dory with it for what I'm doing.

We do have a pile of good shops around. Now is a great time to buy a new bow.........shoot your butt off all spring & summer then ventilate in the fall.

Funny, I have a DVR and between pausing for this and pausing for that I end up way behind.......a commercial comes on and I fast forward to the game and MISS the commercials!! I find my self mumbling "SOB" and backing it up!! So far the ones I've seen were cool. HAAAA I just saw the radio Shack commercial...................
