I found a unit like you described right under my nose! Had one sitting on the work bench although it does need fresh batteries. How long do the batts last, especially the ones ons in the freezer?? Not long I suspect..................

The second hand Elite Answer I bought this fall had a CBE sight on it but it didn't come in the deal, I had to give it back. (I knew that of course when I bought it) In the month or so that I had it I really liked it. I put my old HHA sight on the Elite but might make a change to a CBE if a great deal fell into my lap.

The only thing I've done regularly is the PA elk draw. Pretty slim odds I know but WTH. I've applied for other tags but not annually. -
No worries about sharp pieces being swallowed?? Not much different than chicken or pork bones? I guess I'm just a puss, my dogs never got any bones. A rawhide or two but even those spooked me 'cause they inhale the darn things. I figure it'll be one less trip to the vets if something goes haywire................................................ Oh, don't tell me about clean teeth. I'll snap some pics of the best looking teeth on any 10.5 year old dog you've ever seen, PERFECT!

Esthetically the exposed hammer is my first choice but if you're ever going to stuff it in your pocket, hammerless is the one you want. IMO........ A S&W 442 (sans the internal lock) is en-route now to join my S&W 37, pics to follow.............
