Sorry to hear that. Anymore left in their? I had Lithrotripsy (SP?) a couple times to remove some stragglers left behind during a little problem I had. Seems to have worked so far............. Good luck vipertech -

If your humping along, not much will keep you dry. If on stand, like a couple years ago on that horrifically dreary day I had my screw in umbrella up and full rain gear. No problem when your geared up correctly. When it's time to go, your going to get wet unless your just mooching your way back to camp/car/check station/butcher. -

I bought 100' of marine line at a boating store, cut it into 3-33' sections. For the prussic hitch I bought some high end cord from EMS, IIRC. It took some trial and error before I got the correct length for the hitch. I've had mine for 6-7 years??

Yea, and a gun show in Hamburg NY this weekend also. Doesn't make sense (to me) to do two shows this close on the same weekend. Smarter men at work.......

What are you doing with all them birds?? <grin> For a couple years when I was really hitting them hard I had summer sausage made. Great way to use up lots-o-goose. Have any pics of your kills? Load 'em up......!!

That's some fancy shooting. You have an aftermarket trigger on that gun? The triggers on most shotguns suck so bad that kind of accuracy would seem almost impossible. What slug/scope/barrel combo are you using?

Only season to use the xbow is gun, correct? Can't be too many guys that will chose the xbow over the gun when having a choice. Or are there?

September 25 is National Hunting and Fishing Day. See if any of the DEC offices in your region are having a get-together. I believe the DEC in Avon NY celebrates it but it may be a bit of a haul for you. Should be lots of good information available.

What glass are you running on that? How about loads? I just got a XP 100 260 Remington from a fellow board member here. I tossed a 2x7 Leupold rifle scope on it so I could at least here it go bang. Shot it yesterday, although only 50 yards I got some 1/2" groups with factory 120 grain Corelocks. Twas fun!

For what, deer hunting? If it's a Sierra GameKing, nothing wrong with that. Is the Hornady a hollow point? I wouldn't use that, might go with the Interlock or Interbond though.

250 sq in in the form a vest is a no brainer during gun seasons. I'd rather not have it be a hat, just a vest of some sort. Easy, pencil in the new law.
