    We used a mini blow torch, can beat it. We had them all over my buck, now they will hang outside before they come in the shed. Nothing like cutting up a deer and find a tick on your neck.

    Alright guys and gals it's almost gun season. Hope you all have a SAFE opening weekend and successful too. And don't be that d bag that shoots at 6:15 when it's dark as hell!!

    Probably a game tie decision for me. I tend to like hunting stands near our property line with hopes of them pushing deer my way opening weekend. Its never panned out though. Our spot historically goes dead once gun season rolls around. Most likely ill be in a stand on the hill side on a small oak flat and close to a bedding area.

    There are bank options. Check out farm credit east, they have options for farmers and those who want rural land. I believe you have to have a 700+ credit score and I think around 30 percent down.

    Mine says 61degrees 80pc chance of rain and 20mph winds Saturday, not to exciting. Cold front for Sunday with winds still at 20mph, could be interesting if some snow flies in the hills. Gosh I remember one opening day we must have had a foot of fresh snow, it was wet snow that stuck to everything. you couldn't see 30ft in front of you.

    Well if it's overcast than no boggy, I had a stand that faced the east and sucked on a sunny day but it was was more open. Ya never know till you try it

    My buck was loaded, we hang then in my brothers old farm house she'd and I'd guess we killed over a dozen, one found it's way too the back of my neck. From now on it's hanging outside first.
