I have lyme.. Initial symptoms were fever fatigue migrating joint pains... Liver enzymes were off.. If left untreated it can cause permanent damage, neurological damage etc. Need western blot. Yes i am a dr but do not deal with this. Get tested, good luck
-
I would try again if he didn't see your setup. Stay scent free
-
I stay scent free. I stink up the scrapes and rub lines with urine and Evercalm rutting buck pre rut...This combo gets us real nice cam pics and seems to stir up the woods. But honestly I've pissed on scrapes and it gets bucks to frequent the area just as much lol.

Freedom! Wonder what their field dress weight is.. those things look pretty solid -
Glad to hear everything is OK with police... I live in a suburb of Rochester and my bow is considered a firearm.. Use of bows here "restricted"... "500 ft from any structure"... which pretty much means nowhere in town LOL
-
Cool pic... But hey it's like having a free decoy

Welcome to hunt ny. I live just outside the city of Rochester but hunt 8g. There's a reserve at the end of my street where deer feed at night. I glass 2-3 nights/week and would agree bucks are still together and the mature bucks are fairly nocturnal. Some bucks bumping heads but not paying attention to does. But my scrapes have been getting hammered so here we go.. Good luck!

Going to try a little self filming this season

Nice setup, please post vid if you get a chance to use it in the field. I recently bought a Tactacam it's pretty sweet, easy to use. Have both gun and bow mounts. -
You mean 130am? Him checking scrapes and rub lines pre rut may walk him out earlier. Doctor up some scrapes with scrape starter, or rub some conquest scent rutting buck on rub lines around your plot. My area is getting hammered right now using this combo. Nice buck, good luck!!

I have the Nikon bdc on my semi auto shotgun. Don't really need the circles because I'm not taking very long shots with it. Also have the Nikon bdc on my 700 30-06. There is good support to help calculate the bullet drop. For the money it is a great scope and most of my friends use it too. No fogging and very good in low light. The combo with the trophy hunter is a solid bargain if you're on a budget (less than $500)

Great deer!! Pictures like that remind me why I save all my vacation time for hunting season. Good luck

Rage 2 blade flies real nice... a little tough to keep the blades tucked into the ferrule however. Get them on sale though.. can get them $25-30 and not $40... Haven't shot any other mechanical, only Muzzy and Muzzy Trocar if not the Rage. These all fly like field tips to me.

Video - Nice 8pt Giving Mock Scrape Some Love
JRod 8G8H replied to Cabin Fever's topic in Trail Camera Pictures
cool video, thanks for sharing... he looks 2.5 years old, i'll be sure to start my scrapes this weekend after seeing this -
Evercalm.. Which basically smells like a barn stall. In my experience it acts as both a cover scent for downwind deer and makes deer curious as an attractant. Buy it on sale tho!!
-
I agree that the deer are still in a pattern and easy to figure out right now so I mostly stay scent free and watch the wind. The wind was swirling this weekend and Evercalm worked great. From my experience it makes the deer curious and will actually bring them in, but not spooked or on alert which is great for not clearing out the woods
-
very nice deer, best of luck this year. the bottom buck looks a year older
-
Evercalm all day on my scent drag and then I hang it a few yards from my stand. Smells like a horse stall, very strong. Usually young deer come up and sniff it, but no deer really spook with this. During the rut it's all about Buck Bomb. Also Redman in my jaw works well too all season long.

beautiful bucks there, good luck

The injection is intramuscular so it temporarily causes muscle damage that can last 2-3 days. 50 shots is a lot to pull back immediately after the injection. Don't shoot as much this week otherwise you may compensate, pull back differently, and cause a shoulder injury. And yes I am a doctor
