Sucks but go,get brownie points and make sure she knows that oct,nov and december are off limits!!!!
-
I personally like the 308 better for deer but for just 2 rifles 22 LR and the 30-06 would be perfect. If two guns then yes 12 gauge and 30-06
-
Run!!!!! Cut looking pup though
-
Beikirch's is a great shop, last few guns I have bought I bought from there.
-
Don't really need it as I have the identical model
-
No even close,GW is a tree sling and the TL if a metal climber.I always wanted a TL for those all day sits, but it looked like a pain to get out of the seat to me.

I know a guy that swears by one of these. He sights a new scope in,then shoots it on paper,After that he puts the boresighter back on and sees where it is "zero'ed" and keeps a record of it.Then all he has to do is throw the boresighter on and check it. http://www.cabelas.com/product/Shooting/Shooting-Accessories/Sighting-In/Boresighters|/pc/104792580/c/104769180/sc/104570280/i/103924980/Cabelas-Boresighter-Package/1308530.uts?destination=%2Fcatalog%2Fbrowse%2Fboresighters%2F_%2FN-1100224%2FNs-CATEGORY_SEQ_103924980%3FWTz_l%3DSBC%253BMM%253Bcat104570280&WTz_l=SBC%3BMM%3Bcat104570280%3Bcat103924980

My walmart has a 3 box per day limit, you suck!!HAHA

Summlit for climbers, sometimes its tough to find a decent tree.I also use a lone wolf hang on with three-four sticks for the stubborn trees.
-
Been using one for 3-4 years.Wont go back.Started with a tru fire hunter and switched to a stanslowski this year.Love it!!!
-

Hype, most muzzleloader will do 200-250 if the shooter spends the time working on the load and seeing where it shoots,I can shoot 300 with my Savage 10ML2 on the range but wouldn't take a shot at a game animal that far.To much to go wrong and murphy routinely kicks me in the balls!!!HA

MACHINIST replied to Grizz1219's topic in Out of New York Hunting
I have never seen the alure of going to africa but seeing pics like this makes me want to go.Maybe one day after my baby girl(now 13) is through college and making big $$$$ as a doctor she will send me.......or I will just pony up the dough and go!!!LOL -
Obsession is a great bow!
-
Yea I figured it was a month or so early
-
I went out yesterday to hang some cams at my lease and almost every tree I walked under that was a oak was dropping acorns. Is this about the right time for that or is it early?I am guessing early but I am not 100% sure either.Lots of deer sign around them but they are definitely not hurting for food there.
-
I had one in 280 and loved it,loved the caliber but hated to try and find ammo so it went down the road.I wouldn't hesitate to buy another.Accurate as all get out
-
I would drive right past Happy Valley and go to lakeview. The are is a little harder to decipher than happy valley but once you find the deer they are in there pretty good.Lakeview is on the north end of Sandy pond.

I watched till around the 5 minute mark. Its like rubbing sand in my eyes,we all make a bad shot from time to time but he definitely has a pattern. That pattern is his kids are better shots than he is!!LOL In all seriousness though I have made some crappy shots also, but it looks like to me at least that he recovered all the deer he talked about.
