    Was this mentioned on this site or another? The original owner of Muck boots sold out and has now started a new boot company DryShod. I looked at their site this weekend, look like good boots. If I ever wear out my Muck Wetlands, I may get the DryShod replacements.

    I’m in! I would even go on the run with whoever! Gotta get fresh venison first though....

    I don’t have any of their outer gear pieces, but their sweaters and first layers are all very well made and warm! I have looked at the Sanctuary jacket, but I already have a very very warm Cabelas MT050 jacket that I love and is only 2 years old. I could use an archery jacket for the 30-50 temps though!

    Can’t wait for ice season! Never heard of Widowmaker Lure, but they look great. That Colo bug looks exactly like my number 1 perch lure. Cool that they have it in glow, may stock up on a few of those. I was at Bass Pro in Auburn this week, they have all the ice fishing stuff out now.

    Well, coming from a guy that sells fake crab, that is no surprise! I love turkey! Being Italian, we stuff ours with macaroni (seriously ). The sides are all traditional, dessert is free for all. Hopefully there will be pumpkin pie. In TN for this holiday, first time in my life out of state for it, and only the second time ever not spent in the home I live in. Going to be different but happy to be with my family and to do something a little different. Grand Old Opry on Friday night!

    I do the boot thing too, but I have not brought it with me to rub onto a nearby tree. I might as well try that, nothing else is working this year!

    Get yourself one of these and sharpen the knife every once in a while just by dragging it across the rod. Then once every couple of years bring them in to get a good edge on them.

    Looks good Otisco Paul, I have an old fridge I was going to give away, but I think I will stick it in the garage for a deer if I ever shoot one and it is too warm to hang it. Just plug it in when I need it.

    I have seen bucks turn around at the sound of the grunt tube, but I can’t say my using it has drawn any in to me. I do use a bleat can a few times per sit, but again, can’t say that it has drawn in any deer to me. I sometimes use evercalm on my boots and I have seen deer following he exact trail I walked in on, so I do have some confidence in that.

    Rob, that’s a good idea to write it down when you see it. I always have a hard time still hunting on my property, I stop looking for deer and start looking at future projects. I have written down when I plant my food plots, how big they are, and what seed, fertilizer etc, but that is after the fact. I do have a mental to do list, but if it was written down it would be more likely to be done!

    It truly does, but you gave it a great effort. Also impressive that @blackbeltbill was in on the search both last night and this morning. Both things are a sign of a true sportsman!
