Actualy the best kitchen knives are made in Japan, they have been making the best cuttlery for centuries. I use Dexter brand knives for everything, not that expensive amd stay sharp for a long time,other the the ones I have made myself 50 years ago and are still cutting great..

Ever think of using choke and carb. cleaner, it is made to remove carbon and dirt.Watch out with brakekleen not too good for you ,breathing or spilling on your skin.

If you want a sharp knife or other cutting tools buy a paper wheel. that is how razor blades are sharpened when they are made.Or visit an old time barber. Warm and windy weather,with less hunters to push them.They were just lieing down all day and feeding at night. That is how it has been by me.

When I started there were no climers or ladder stands, all was on the ground then I bought a climer got older and then bought a ladder stand ( have not used it for 2 years.Then I bought a ground blind,that fell apart ( was out 24/7 ) now I use a strap on swivel seat on a tree.It's all about where you post.

On L.I. Deer swimming in the great sout bay was common seen them many times while surf casting.Also have seen them swimming from PA to NY in the Delaware River and across ponds where we hunted in Sullivan county.

Yesterday nothing close to me until 9:30 AM Just 2 shots. Very few after that. This morning could not tell went food shopping,nothing after that rainy and windy here most of the day. A lot of pain in the a$$ road hunters though creeping around everywhere.

At ( closser to ) 73 I woke up or maby didn't sleep all night.Rolled out of bed at 6:00 Am. Made brekfaste and waited to hit the john.By me all private land. No one pushing deer.I found it is a wast of time heading out in the dark.After hitting the john 2 times I headed out around 8:00 AM to one of my wood pile ground blinds.Past 4 does bedded on my ATV. They just looked at me and nodded there heads as I rode by.To cut it short the only shots near me were at 9:30 am, just 2.The does bedded down all day about 75 yards and stayed there till 3:30 PM and started brousing.Big daddy bdidn"t show up.Tommorow looks halfway good untill the PM, Then rain and very heavy winds.Did haver my orange hat on though.

Not 1 shot here untill 9:30 then 1 and 1 a litte after that.Hope the got it.On the way up to my natural blind 3 does were bedded they got up went up 1 level to there usual spot and bedded down again about 75 yards on the same level as me,they got up once during that time to relive themselves.When we left 4 hours they just laeyed ther and watched us drive away on the ATV.

This has been going on for many years,I bet they are selling just the cap with the antlers attached,That's why we hang ours in a unheated building as a barn. I guess you have to hang your trail cameras near the hanging deer.
