Not quite whiskey but enjoyed some johnny walker blue tonight- my friend bike always cracks a bottle for the Eve In Brooklyn. Gonna make the Evans Williams a bit harder to muscle down but I’ll do my best! Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

Church’s decoration game is strong this year! Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk -
Wait-ZERO fat added? I would think it would be really dry and not overly appealing. Since you have cooked thousands I will take your word for it that they don’t fall apart, but it does make me curious about your method. How fine is the ground? How big are the burgers? Thick? Thin? Cooked partially frozen? I’m always up for new techniques Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

Hell yeah the license cost should be upped- I bought the lifetime sportsman 20 years ago for me and 12 years ago for my boys!!! Still my best investment to date (hence me working the rest of my life!). Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

This was amazing- I striped all meat off the bones and cut in portions and then followed the below https://www.thespruce.com/venison-osso-buco-2313773 A fellow hunter/teacher gave me his shanks from two deer and I will be making a HUGE pot over break to split up Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

We play Ruff Ryder’s anthem after Perry Como!!!!! Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

Perry Como’s Christmas album (yes the actual vinyl) was always on for decorating as a kid and so it remains my favorite- bought mom a record player a few Christmases back just for that record. “There’s no place like home for the holidays” may top his offerings. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

Or any binocs! I carry too much crap already. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

No Home Alone fans? And if die hard counts then Trading Places deserves a place at the Christmas table- both great but not ABOUT Christmas. Officially DISQUALIFIED from the conversation. Chrtsmas story and Charlie Brown Christmas and the TV Grinch are the family’s go-to shows. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

Here’s my Christmas meal- venison Wellington: http://foodforhunters.blogspot.com/2012/02/buck-wellington.html Biz- there is a nice sauce that is in the recipe that may make for a good dipping sauce as well Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

Had a buck (too far to count but definitely 4 if not more) come through at 3:00 at 100 yards out. Tried the grunt and the can and my streak of not being able to interest a deer in my calls continues! He heard it but was not interested and headed to some thick crap and then nearby pines. At 3:45 a doe (my actual target for the evening) shows up from the mountain side and is on the correct trail heading my way. At 50 yards she stops as these two squirrels seemingly are auditioning for American Ninja Warrior under my tree. She turns around, raises the white flag and slowly walks away. I swear she was afraid of the squirrels. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

All settled in 3s for the evening, hunting an area I do not frequent but the sign is pretty good. My biggest problem is the trees- not a truly straight one here. Oh well at least I have a good excuse lined up if I whiff!!! Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

Brown onions (preferably in caste iron pan) slice meat thin and put on crustini with some horseradish sauce Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
