Not that I know of. The Power-shok made by Federal are sort of like the Remington Core-lokts. It's their plain vanilla cartridges that they sell for the lowest prices. They've been making them for years. I first used them years ago when I got my .270, and then tried everything else that was more expensive, and now have gone back to them. The rest didn't perform any better on NYS deer than these do and the accuracy I get is just as good, too. If I were to go on an expensive hunt somewhere else, I'd fire Nosler Partitions, Barnes bullets or something like that, but for run of the mill deer in NY, the Power-shoks do the trick. I've tried them all, too. I've concluded to kill deer you do not need the high priced premium ammo. At todays prices they are running from $35-$50 per box and you definitely don't need to spend that kind of money for ammo for NYS deer. In my .270 with plain vanilla Federal Power-shok ammo that you can find for $20 per box I get groups that are just as good as with the expensive stuff. Will put deer down just as good also. If you handload you can get away with shooting premium bullets for less, but buying them ready made you are honestly spending too much for little to no advantage.

If I were living next door I would have called the cops and told them that two "blacks" were fighting on my neighbors lawn. I bet they wouldn't have expected to see two "black" bears. LOL

Burt, instead of videotaping your misses at deer, you need to videotape yourself opening this safe and then post it here for all of us to see. Now that would be a video worth watching. Who knows what you'll find in there? Maybe nothing but the old dead guys dentures. LOL

Superbly made video and a really well spoken hunter. We need more people like this guy to represent hunting. Too many yahoos out there trying to speak on our behalf only to make us look like a bunch of clowns.

The QDMA or the NRA is not the GOVERNMENT. Big difference. The government can kick you off the land that you think you own, too, if they think it's necessary, so they can definitely shut a business down if they want.

If the gun lobby can't do anything about the SAFE act, I highly doubt there is a deer farmers lobby nearly as powerful that could help the deer farmers if the state decided to shut you down. You guys might make decent money with these deer, but not like deer farming is some sort of necessity in society. Outside of hunting, you guys are pretty insignificant. You may not sell canned hunts on your land, but if they make a connection between your deer being sold for canned hunts elsewhere, you will have even less of a leg to stand on. If you think hunters here are giving you a hard time on deer farming for freak sized antlers and hunting penned up deer, try asking the rest of the world what they think about it? You're probably as popular as the Ebola virus.

It would look pretty weird if someone sees you brushing a hanging deer. Sort of like a mortician fixing up a dead human for funeral viewing. LOL

If someone is sensitive to criticism, then maybe they shouldn't post pictures (or anything else for that matter) on the internet for the world to see. Easy solution for the sensitive souls out there.

A little hard to know for sure from the picture, but it sure looks like the breach plug isn't screwed in all the way. That would cause the gun not to close also.

What's with the white rifle? I realize having it covered in white may help when you hunt in the snow, but it sure sticks out like a sore thumb when there is no snow. Having one in normal green/brown camo would look less out of place in the snow than your white one does hunting without snow. You guys are covered from head to toe in camo, yet the gun is white. LOL

It is no doubt a huge deer, but I am getting tired of seeing pictures of guys sitting a half mile behind the buck to make it look gigantic. We all know what the trick is, so people need to give it up already.

I can criticize politicians of any party, but in all honesty Cuomo has the personality of a doorknob. Even politicians that are disliked can have interesting personalities and one can sometimes find something appealing in them. Cuomo has absolutely NOTHING about him that can be perceived as appealing. It is hard to believe that he could have been elected to anything, let alone be elected in as Governor twice. Unbelievable! I guess all it takes is a well known name, and a (D) behind your name to get elected in this state.

A buckshot pellet would penetrate a deers skull or the heart at 200 yards?? I wish someone could post a video or chart showing what it could penetrate at such a distance. Probably no one ever tried because no one could ever hit anything with buckshot at that distance.

I'd really like to see some ballistic charts showing how much penetration you'd get at 200 yards with buckshot? Maybe one of the pellets flew into the bucks mouth and there was no one around to give him the heimlich maneuver and he choked to death?? LOL
