  1. This NYC boy is showing you country boy's how to get it done!!
  2. That's a good one! I've had the same box of 10 shells for the last 15 years, so I haven't spent much money either. I have 9 left. The one shell I shot was just because I wanted to check to see if the gun still works. LOL
  3. I hope that I am wrong about Halle, but it is well known fact that the vast majority of celebrities are very liberal in every way imaginable and very anti-gun. You'd have plenty to add to your ass hat list.
  4. That's good. Hopefully she's the real deal. She definitely looks like she knows how to handle guns.
  5. I will give her that. She most definitely looks like she is enjoying herself.
  6. LOL, it's funny how everyone is having an orgasm over this video. I bet if you questioned her, she'd be totally anti-gun and anti 2nd amendment like most all celebrities. They tote and shoot guns in the movies and on TV, yet they don't want anyone in the real world to have any.
  7. Honestly, we shouldn't be comparing this case with Waco. David Koresh was a nut job who thought he was the second coming of Christ, so in my opinion he created his own problems with the government and many others. And unfortunately his stupidity led to the deaths of many people.
  8. I guess what triggered this search and seizure is that he may have had a few guns that were deemed illegal in CA, but otherwise having 1000 guns should not be an issue if everything else is kosher.
  9. I don't know of any law that would make it illegal for someone to own 1000 guns even if they weren't a federal firearms dealer. I'm sure there are people out there that may have that many or more. If a person has done nothing illegal with these guns, what's the problem with owning them? Some people have lots of money, like to collect things, so 1000 guns would not be an insane amount to accumulate.
  10. I noticed a few weeks ago on the DEC website that registration would begin at 4:00AM this morning for a course out on Long Island. I was up at 4:00 and luckily got to register my son for the class. By 4:15 there were only 7 seats out of the 30 remaining. All filled and registration closed by 7:00 AM. Unbelievable how quickly these classes get filled. Very easy to miss out on one and then you might have to wait months for another one.
  11. Must have been a tough hunt. You look a little pale.
  12. My uncle lent me his guns the first few years that I hunted. The first gun of my very own was bought by myself. It was a Remington 700 BDL in .270 which I still hunt with today, although the stock has needed to be replaced. It's 35 years old now, but still puts down the deer I shoot at so why change things?
  13. AT, you get my vote for being the most dedicated and successful hunter on this forum coming out of NYC! Hats off to you man! Not many around NYC anymore with your type of desire and dedication to our sport.
  14. I think you are right about people upstate not getting out to vote. At least in the Gubernatorial election, they could have done much more to oust Cuomo if they made more of an effort to get everyone out to vote. We also need to understand that not everyone upstate is a republican, neither. I think people sometimes seem to forget that. NYC is most definitely going back to being a dump. Have you been here lately? Derelicts all over the streets and subways every morning smelling them up to high hell. Road, bridges, subways crumbling in general. DiBlasio seems to care mighty little about any of this. Crime too, has been increasing. Crime generally is not as bad as some make it sound, but certainly going the wrong way compared to recent years where things were getting much better.
  15. Giuliani was far from a conservative or even moderate republican back then. Even a moderate republican would have NO chance in NYC, even back then. Bloomberg ran as a republican in his first term just so he didn't face the democrats in the primaries who might have beaten him. He then turned into an independent and back into a democrat in his subsequent two terms. Whatever these two stood for, at least they did a lot to clean the city up and once again make it into a world class city. The guy in office now, DiBlasio, has totally taken it back to the ghetto days of the 60's, 70's. & 80's. I honestly can't imagine a republican ever again winning the mayor's seat in NYC. It's beyond hope at this point.
  16. Good plucking job!! I rather skin 10 deer than pluck one turkey.
  17. The guy's been there as long as I can remember. I honestly think LaPierre died a number of years ago and what we see on TV is a wax replica of him with some sort of remote control mouth movement and speaking ability.
  18. LOL. You got to give him credit, though. He walked all the way up from the Mexican border, singing and strumming his guitar the entire way. He has a cousin in Potsdam and he plans to settle down there! LOL
  19. Is that your shotgun leaning up against that car? I bet if a DEC officer came by he'd go right for it and want to make sure it was unloaded. In a public spot like that, I'd put it inside the trunk and out of sight if I wasn't carrying it. The fewer reasons you give a DEC officer or any officer to ask you questions or give you $#!+, the better in my opinion.
  20. Wow, I'd be worried if they left a mark on me like that. I've been bit by a tick a couple of times while hiking in the summer months, never while hunting, but after pulling them off they left no mark at all on me and it didn't itch at all either.
  21. Isn't NY a sanctuary state already?? Sure seems like Cuomo and DiBlasio in NYC have been bending over backwards to harbour them for a good while already.
  22. The only use I see to this cartridge is for those states that are allowing these straight walled cartridges in what used to be shotgun only areas. I see it of little use in NYS. If you want to hunt coyotes you don't need to fire a .35 caliber bullet at them. The .223 will do just fine.
  23. Biden would be turning 79 in 2021, the year he'd be taking office if he won the election. That to me is just plain nuts! It used to be that people looked forward to retirement at 65 or even earlier, and now we have people wanting to work into their 80's. They even want to be president in their 80's. Don't people know when to hang it up anymore??
  24. I remember when you posted that picture. That's a fine looking meat pole, that's for darned sure!!
  25. Burt, just to prove that I wasn't lying to you, below is a screen grab of the title of one of the PM exchanges between me and Doe. I wish I had a dollar for all the "LOL's" in that PM exchange about you! LOL
