  1. Not a peep yet... Finally a morning with no rain, so I was hoping they would be vocal and feeling frisky. Sent from my SM-G900V using Tapatalk
  2. I love it!! Great pic Bob!! LOL Sent from my SM-G900V using Tapatalk
  3. Never heard a thing until 6:30, then heard 3 gobblers in 3 different directions within 150 yards. They responded to my calls, and gobbled several times, but none showed up. Haven't heard a peep since 7:15... Sent from my SM-G900V using Tapatalk
  4. Last Saturday, I heard ~500 gobbles. One flock of 6 jakes were really hammering! Today, not a single gobble! Beautiful morning too. The bastids... Sent from my SM-G900V using Tapatalk
  5. Happy Birthday Red and 2012-Taco!!! Hope you both have a good one.
  6. Still out, hoping to take one with the bow. Had about 8 gobbling within ~200 yards of me at daylight. At 7:20, a group of 6 of what looked to be jakes, came out ~75 yards. They looked over my decoys and went back the way they came. I can't imagine they were intimidated by my strutting jake decoy. This isn't the first time this has happened, so I took it down as a precaution after they left today. Guess I'll just depend on the hen decoys to bring them in from now on. 7. Had at least 3 gobblers that were very vocal this morning. They gobbled ~500 times between 5:30-7:30, then either stopped or were out of ear shot. I packed up at 9:45 and thought I would move the blind to a spot ~400 yards away, to where I plan on hunting tomorrow, to save me from lugging it in and putting it up in the morning. I finished putting it up and brushing it in and looked at my phone, it was 10:45. I thought I would throw out a few yelps and had 2 gobblers respond, both ~200 yards away in different directions. I jumped in the blind and hoped for the best. They gobbled several times, but didn't sound like they were getting any closer. I packed up at 11:55 and headed in. Hopefully tomorrow will end in my favor...
  8. Thought I would try something I've never done before. I've always wanted to take one with the bow! Somehow set up my blind within ~125 of what sounded like 3 different gobblers. I could see one on the roost. I thought I was in the money! For whatever reason, they flew down in the opposite direction and wandered off. They must have gobbled 500x, from 5:30-7:30! It sounded like they went in different directions. Never heard any hens calling. I'm sure the one could see my decoys from his roost. Sent from my SM-G900V using Tapatalk

  12. Been raining steady in Seneca County since 5am. Got the blind up and decoys out in the field. Not feeling very optimistic, but it's my Friday off anyways. Nothing better to do and have a thermos of coffee to help pass the time... Sent from my SM-G900V using Tapatalk
  13. Happy Birthday Bionic!! Sent from my SM-G900V using Tapatalk
  14. Congrats Belo! I hope that pic's in a frame somewhere!
  15. Welcome Louis! I checked out your YouTube channel and watched a couple of your videos! I will definitely watch the rest of them later for sure! Great quality! I've never seen anyone hunt from horseback before! It doesn't seem like the bucks pay you any attention at all!? That's some cool stuff!
