I am still toying with the idea of going out tomorrow (just said i wasn't in another thread). I got about 25 hours racked up for work in the last two days so it technically gives me Monday off but i might just put a few more hours in tomorrow AM to get me that much farther ahead. I cant go out in the AM because i have to be her when the house inspector gets her but if i go out i will be still hunting - i love my 3D suit. Still going out Sunday afternoon and for sure Monday (baring a disaster at work).

I am going to skip tomorrow and work. Then take off Monday . Good luck.

1,2, 10, 11, 5, 12 I would say you could move 2 down to the field edge on the inside corner.And anything near a high concentration of deer crack / apples is a safe bet. I wouldn't target corn or beans since they are everywhere apples however are a different story. Terrain may play a little more into it (i mapped it on google maps since you left the gps on there). The creek could play into it if it has a steep bank or crossing point where you might be able to find / make a funnel. Whats the land tot the east? dirtbike paths? Nothing that really blows my skirt up.

@^@#%^ thread. I looked at this thread this AM before i left for work around 6am and i get 15 miles down the road and what do you think is standing there - fat doe and two yearlings. She stands there looking at the truck like "what you expect me to move" so i gave her a little nudge with the truck. Guy behind me learned why its not a good idea to tailgate. Had a nice big 6pt dart in front of me tonight at about 7:30 on the way home.

I would agree with that analysis as well. I have played around with taking the last two weeks before gun as well as some time in late October. I have never really seen squat that last week before gun but just before Halloween has always been pretty good as well. A couple of guys I know that take deer reliably with a bow have similar experiences.

Dont really know. Probably going to rent for a while and take a long hard look at where we will end up. Dont really know if i am going to stay with my current job or take another position elsewhere. But if i do end up staying where i am at i will probably end up in one of 4 areas, Jamestown, Batavia, Penn Yan, Ithaca. If i take another position who knows (other areas / other states - its all up in the air).

Closing the 13th of December. And to top it off i unloaded my possessed trailblazer today and picked up a Toyota sienna. I feel like i won the lottery.

Yes i have it off but i will be working anyway, the sweet part is i get to bank the time and take it off when i want to (i.e. the first week of November). Its a pointless holiday anyway.

Parents will teach the kids the reality of the world and consequences that come with those realities or the world will do it for the parents. I didn't like the consequences my parents gave me but looking back they were a hole lot better than the alternative. Unfortunately i don't think the parents are holding up there end of the bargain. Just look at the last comment (probably from mom, aunt, etc. etc.). If they were my kids they would be working on that farm until the farmer thought the debt had been paid, to the hell with what the court does or doesn't do. @ growalot - old or young a dumass is a dumass and there should be consequences for there actions. I was young (still am compared to most on this forum) and i had to pay my dues for the choices i made.

Yes i was referring to the 3 blade rage i just didn't quote your statement. As for the 3 blade rage i have heard that some ECOs will tell you its illegal because it binds on occasion and wont retract - that's all. 3 blades are illegal in NY. As for 2 blades i bought a set and the damn things kept opening on me if i so much as looked at them wrong. Never even loosed an arrow just sold them on AT. As for the flight i used to think that until i tried doing some serious fixed blade shooting - i don't have issues so i figure why use mechanicals.

I started using old thunder heads and then switched to using razorbacks. Then when i bought my new compound i was using spitfires but had a couple instances where i had a lack of penetration. So i switched back to the fixed blades now (slick tricks).

After having the house up on the market for 3+ months without a single look finally got a first bite yesterday. Kicker was when my wife went to do lunch duty at school and one of my daughters class mates keeps telling her he saw our house. She finally asks him what he means and he says he saw the inside of it That was followed by our realtor calling us and telling us that the couple had family that use to own it and they love all the updates and work we did to it. Knock on wood.

Tha's why i hunt out of a tree saddle and have a set of steps that i put up and take down on every hunt. I don't have the money to replace that stuff if it gets stolen.
