You must have more faith in the Government than me. It would be a cold day in hell before I let the DECor anyone else for that matter chose who can hunt my property. In all honesty it really doesn't make much difference. Around these parts most every farmer and farm help has a rifle in the tractor or truck all the time. Never known of any of them to get a nuisance permit but I sure know of a lot of deer they have killed. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

Aren't you a land owner? Do you like the Gov. Being able to tell you what to do with your land? If a farmer has problems with crop damage why in the hell should he have to let people on his land hunt them? In my opinion a farmer shouldn't even need nuisance permits, if deer are eating their crops they should be able to shoot them. What they want to do with the deer after is up to them. Good deal on a good gun! Barrel looks a touch long but other than that looks like a dandy. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

Get a half mile off the road and there is minimal pressure most anywhere in the ADKS. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

There won't be much more than a couple inches, my wife shoots 45lbs and I have her bow set up dead on at 20 and top of back at 30. 0-25 there is at most 2-3" difference and about 6" low at 30. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

I would go dead on at 20, and be close to top of the back at 30. That way 0-25 you could hold dead on Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

I will keep working on the bale drills. I shoot a spott Hogg wippersnapper thumb release now and have for a long time so I'm used to thumb releases. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

I don't plan on hunting with it. I just gotta figure out how to shoot again and am hoping a back tension will help. The stans seem to be highly recommended. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

So how much do you have in you're 4 acre corn bait/cover field? Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

I don't know how much you are planting but with fertilizer over 10$ a bag and fuel over 2$ a gallon it wouldn't take a big corn plot to have 100$ in it and that's 10 bags of feed corn. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

You don't use fertilizer when you plant corn? Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

So how's this thing shoot? You have it drilled out to a whelen yet? Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

Figured I would ask the experts here for advice before I buy one. I have been shooting my longbow almost exclusively since hunting season but my shoulder is starting to bother me again so I started shooting the compound because it doesn't bother the shoulder near as bad. I am shooting like total crap! I'm almost embarrassed to say it but I think shooting figures for so long now has given me target panic with the release and I'm shooting AWFUL! I'm thinking of trying a back tension release to see if it will help me get back to where I was. Anyone have one? Anybody have any recommendations? Or better yet one that you aren't using that you're willing to sell? Any help will be greatly appreciated! Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

Bout time for a new 2017 truck thread!
Buckmaster7600 replied to Fletch's topic in General Chit Chat
I have a 15 Ford F-250 regular cab long bed gas. Couldn't be happier with it. With the current rebates I have been thinking about driving it over and seeing what they'll give me for it on a new one. Probably wouldn't be with it because I would buy the exact same truck but the new ones look awesome. If I wanted a half ton it would be a ford. I absolutely hate my 13 Silverado. Bull Sh-!t a bag of corn feed corn cost 10$, used properly you should be able to fill your tags with no more than 2 bags. you have 10$ in fuel to till your fields for corn. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

I agree Biz, I wouldn't bait but I would like to see it legal. At least in wmu's where there is over population. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

Yes a food plot is baiting, but why does it matter? I work with a guy the complains constantly about his neighbor baiting and shooting "the big ones" every year yet every year he plants more food plots. The only difference is effort and a arbitrary law. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

Hunter commits suicide possibly from cyber bullying anti's

"It is unknown if her death was related to the cyber bullying." Than why the F*** is it the headline of the article? Sad, young girl had a lot of life left. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk -

I think a lot of this comes from shitty neighborhoods. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk -
I like to think of this forum like the Toby Keith song "I love this bar" we have all types and none of us get along all the time. There is a couple on here I wish would keep they're booger pickers of the keys from time to time but for the most part we have a good bunch around here. We all argue about different things on here because most of us have been at this for a while and it's human nature to think your way is the best. Occasionally we get a new A$$hole but they usually get the boot after a while. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

Any Good (Rabbit) Hunting in Scenic Adirondaks or Elsewhere?
Buckmaster7600 replied to nanderson's topic in General Hunting
Big problem you will have is I don't know of any guides that will hunt bunnies are hat time of year. Northern zone deer hunting is in its prime the week before the southern zone opener. I would be very surprised if any guide would let dogs run the woods that time of year. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk -
Well the call was made, it's sad when you call your gun shop and you don't even need to give them your last name and you have a new gun on the way for you. A17 with laminate stock should be here Wednesday or Thursday. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

Own a hornet now, if they made it in an auto or a pump it would be on the list. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
