  1. I do my own butchering and have never spit a pelvis. If you don't hit guts and do a thorough gutting and "bunging" job I dot think it's necessary. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  2. The butt-out topic has been fun and got me thinking what's the gadget that is in your pack or pocket all the time? Mine would be a life straw I pack as light as possible and a few ounce piece of plastic gives me as much safe drinking water as I need. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  3. You truly can't make a post without making yourself higher than the rest can you? Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  4. Hopefully he learned a little about anatomy on that one. Or his first girlfriend won't be a girlfriend long. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  5. I guess I can call the first one a group is 1 shot from 60,70and 80yds last group is 34yds. 6 shots today is plenty in this friggen heat! Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  6. Until I was issued my benchmade when I was in the service every deer I ever killed was gutted by one of these tiny bucks. To each's own but I don't want anything hanging off my while hunting, especially 6-8" knife. Maybe I'm lazy but I like to look at it as efficient. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  7. I'm with you. I always have to laugh when I see people with big knives that they use for gutting a deer especially the ones with the gut hook! Not knocking anyone that uses these things they're just not going to be in my pack. Stick your finger in the B hole pull to 1 side cut around pull to other side finish circle reach up inside pull and done. In Eddies video it took him longer to get the zip tie on and tight than it takes me to "bung" out a deer. if it works like it did in that video it definitely works like it was meant to! 8. To each's own, I don't foresee one being in my pack anytime soon. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  9. Easy to put on and don't tangle like some of the others I have used. They have the best leg nickels or lack of buckles. Not to heavy. Of the 3 I own if I was forced to wear one it would be the muddy. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  10. I'll bite, what the hell is a butt out? Only thing I use for gutting a deer is a 2 1/2" folding benchmade and a pair of gutting gloves but I only use 1 sleeve at a time so I get 2 deer out of a pack. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  11. I have a stand in a hickory tree that's in the middle of a field and it's a great stand killed a truck load of does out of it. Deer seem to come to the tree as soon as they get into the field and then feed from there. I have never shot a buck from it or shot a deer from it with a gun. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  12. I have 3 of them a muddy, tree spider vest and a hss bow hunter. I hate everyone of them and usually wear the old sty belt. I know they aren't nearly as safe but I can't stand having crap strapped around my legs and waste! Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  13. My double bulls look basically like new and 3 have been out since 2008. I don't know what kind you guys are using but I can't complain about mine at all but 400$ is a lot of$$$ for a friggen tent! Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  14. Copenhagen straight spit upwind so you get some in your beard! If everything feels just right I'll use tinks 69 on a tampon dragged behind me. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  15. Although I now reload almost all my ammo I have learned the hard way premium ammo is premium for a reason I will say that the Winchester bonded shot same holes as Xp3's and that makes it great cheap plinking ammo without having to adjust scopes because XP3's is what I shot out of everything before I reloaded. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  16. Should be close but I would shoot a group or 2 before going in the woods! Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  17. I was pretty sure you were but had to ask. Lol Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  18. There is a 50$ rebate on leupold VX-1, a 2-7 should be around 150$ after the rebate. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  19. You're kidding right? Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  20. I bought another gun yesterday and got put on hold for my first time. They said it was down all day Monday and most of Tuesday. He was on the phone for over an hr and then it got delayed song would say something is up for sure. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  21. When they get here maybe NY will finally let us carry handguns bow hunting that will be nice. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  22. Honestly, when I need more than underwear on to let the dog out and let my chickens out. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  23. You can cheat a long draw with a shorter release. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  24. I have zero desire to ever shoot another bear unless it is licking the tailgate of my truck but I will be out as much as possible in the Adirondacks during early bear. It's a chance to get back in the game and walk around carrying a gun. I saw the buck I killed last year in September bear "hunting" and killed him 2 months later 150yds from where I seen him in September. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  25. If the ones making decisions try to use input from this and other forums we are F***ed! It's very rare to get an majority on anything. That would make sense as to why the dec seems to throw stuff at the wall and see what sticks. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
