You watch the news and you would think 85% of the country is pro illegal immigration.

I understand that some people are against the wall for the very reason you state. But I don't understand how a wall (with advanced detection features) can't at least stop a good portion of the issue. Where there is a will there is a way, but if that way is much harder and your chances of getting caught are increased to 90% that will, will would have to be extreme. As to what I was looking for: I am truly curious to have an intelligent conversation with a person that is pro illegal immigration. If you watch the news there seems to be a lot of them and I just don't understand that thought process.

He was like every lefty I have tried to have a civil conversation with. Didn't agree, had no argument and would just call names. I would actually like to have a conversation with someone knowledgeable at some point that can at least explain how their way of thinking makes sense. Most of the people on this site have different idea's but for the most part it seems anyway that we lean right. Some more than others. Nobody resorted to calling @moog5050 names when he was making his argument for not building the wall. I don't agree but I can see his side.

Exactly this^^^^^^ Way to many laws (not just this one) that are laws for the sake of making laws. What about all the Laws that were already broken with that limo, company, driver etc.

When we were in Cape Cod my daughter kept trying to get me to go out farther in the water and I was like....ahh no and neither are you. I was telling her there were great white sharks out there and she basically laughed at me. I was thinking we really need to sit down and watch Jaws together....lol

I agree, I think that would be awesome. BUT in a cage! You wouldn't catch me in the water without a cage.

I agree with everything other than what you say about a path to citizen ship. Why should they get a path when there are plenty of people waiting to do it the correct way. You want citizen ship. Get in line! You forgot about schooling as well. No more school for non citizens. Why should public schools that use our tax dollars have to pay for this burden. And don't even think about coming here and waiving the Mexican or whatever other flag. If you want to do that stay and your country and fix that one!

First, Lets keep this civil. I am really interested in hearing a different way of thinking. I would say I am pretty conservative. My views to me, are just common sense. Border: Not only do I want a strong border in the country, I want to deport anyone that doesn't belong here. We have millions and millions of illegals in our public schools, speaking different languages, putting huge burdens on school system budgets and teachers. Their parents aren't paying any taxes that go into the schools budget. We are paying out billions in health care, keeping people detained and in jail. I know not all but many of the illegals are criminal and many have been found guilty, been deported and come right back so it must not be very hard to come back in. There is an enormous financial burden to having these people in our country, state, cities and towns. Money that can be better spent on our citizens. I welcome anyone that wants to come to this country the correct way. I could go on and on about this subject but my point is clear. No we want to pay for illegals health care and college and be a sanctuary state? All that will do is bring more here. NY alone spent almost 10 billion dollars of a 171 billion dollar budget. So 6 percent of our budget went to people that shouldn't even be here! Tax and Health Care: I know this is two subjects but I am going to put it into 1 because it is all about money. To me, this is simple. The more left leaning the person you vote for is, the more you are going to pay in taxes/healthcare. Unless of course you don't pay taxes and your health care is free. We live in on of the very few states that have a income tax, property tax and a sales tax and all 3 of those taxes are amongst the highest in the country. We don't have amazing infrastructure. Where is all this money going? To me it is going to all the people that don't work and don't pay taxes. Why should a person that doesn't work get food stamps per week that are higher than my grocery bill? I don't want anyone starving to death but why should they eat steak when I am eating hamburger? I know one person that was briefly on food stamps when she got out of a bad situation and she couldn't believe how much she was given. Why in this case do we still hear about kids that don't eat unless they get free lunches at school? All that food stamp money and they can't make lunch for their kids? Why does a person that gets section 8 housing, social security, food stamps and whatever other programs they are entitled to get more in help then the average person makes? How does that make sense? I am tired of hearing health care is a right for all....why is it a right that I have to pay almost as much as my mortgage for my family health plan through my employer and the person that never made anything of themselves, may or may not have a job sometimes gets it for nothing? Laws: I am tired of laws that don't make sense and only hurt law abiding citizens. The SAFE act was made because of Newtown. Which was horrible and I can't imagine being one of the parents that lost their children. But what in the safe act would have stopped that from happening? A mother purchased a firearm knowing she had a whacko kid and he stole that gun. Plain and simple. Now we are talking about making laws because of one Limo crash (again horrible) when there was already a bunch of broken laws. This new law is only going to hurt business that rely on buses, trucks, limo's etc. Why is making laws for the sake of making laws a good thing? All these laws hurt business, mandating a minimum wage, family leave act etc. LGBT: Its 2019, I don't care if you are black, white, green, yellow, gay, straight, transgender or whatever. By why are we remaking the rules, making everyone uncomfortable for the sake of 1. Over and over again. My daughter is 13 and middle school. There is one transgender kid in the whole school. He is a boy that I guess identifies as a girl, makes the teachers call him Rose etc. Now this boy is allowed to use the same locker room and bathroom as my daughter making her and the rest of the student population uncomfortable. How has this become acceptable? Drug Legalization: I have mixed feelings about this. Mostly because I know you can get marijuana just about anywhere these days. But my question to Cuomo would be, I speak to my 13 year old daughter almost daily about the importance of staying away from drugs. Now we are making one legal. One that I have been saying stay away from. How many more kids are there going to be that do nothing but get high and play video games with no other care in the world. No drive. Budget: This one is quite simple to me. At some point we are going to have to pay the piper. How can we continue spending trillions more than we take in? I have literally had left leaning people tell me the deficit doesn't matter....What? How can anyone go on spending more than they take in forever? It isn't sustainable IMO There are many more things I could go on about but I am sick of typing and getting aggravated going over everything in my head IMO is wrong.

You are might be right about the ATV with trips etc. I can't imagine riding my ATV 200 miles in one day and I do that fairly often on a day of snowmobiling. I am not sure how I would make it through the winter without snowmobiling. The rest of the year I have other interests which is probably why I don't use the 4 wheeler much. Boating, Corvette, Hunting, Golf etc take up plenty of time when there isn't snow on the ground. Sorry for getting the post off track.

There is always snow if you are willing to travel. I almost never ride local even when we have snow here. Tug Hill, Speculator, Indian Lake, Old Forge almost always have snow. Some years are better than others and I always make at minimum 2 trips to Canada sometimes up to 4 depending on how early and late they have snow. I put a couple thousand miles per season on my snowmobile. My 2007 Brute Force 750 has less than 500 miles on it. I have more than that on my sled just this year.

Well if you need an honest opinion you can invite me and I will give you a review.....lol

Wow, that is super generous of you. I would like to think the people you allow to hunt are happy enough with that!

I have been snowmobiling for 30 years, I am not even sure how many sleds I have owned. I don't meant to sound like a jerk but I think it will be very hard for you to get much money for that sled. I am not saying it isn't nice. Ever since Skidoo went to a rider forward design in 2003 and moved the rider to the middle of the sled and everyone started copying them nobody wants those old back breakers. The way the new sleds ride, I would quit snowmobiling if I had to go back to riding something like that. On top of that, even with the bells and whistles of being a two up, that was an entry level snowmobile with the 550 Fan. I guess it is possible you could find that one specific person looking for a sled like that. I think the $1500 offer was about right. If you can get someone to pay more than 2k for it. I would take it and run. That sled cost around $5000 15 years ago. I would bet if you looked up the average price that sled sells for now it would be less than $1000.

I would buy something newer than that one you posted, regardless of the price, but that's just me. Something that old would probably be difficult finding parts for it.

I am always looking at craigs list. I assume from that ad his budget is around $1000. It is going to be tough finding a decent 4 wheeler for that price range but it can be done. I need some new bolts. I was going to just purchase the ones that come with the lighted nocks. I had lighted nocks on my bolts this year and they were not anywhere near as good as the noctournals I use on the compound. I wish I could remember the name of them but got rid of the package quite a while ago. I got them at flying arrow sports. They were a blue body with a red light. There were terrible. Don't buy them. They would turn on if you just touched them and were not bright at all. I was able to find my bolt in the tall grass/weeds after it got dark this past fall so I guess they sort of served their purpose.

I was thinking the same thing. Not really sure how he is going to make 7 figures. I do get that it is a world record and not just a big buck. When I first started reading this post I wasn't sure I would want all the BS, Kinda what @Belo said in his post. Share it with my hunting buddies, enjoy it on my wall and be done. After reading the posts on here, if the possibility really exists to make a living off something like that, much less a really good one (7 figures) I think I would have to take the paycheck. I would probably be shaking more making public appearances especially if I had to speak than I would have been shaking when I shot that buck. It wouldn't be my cup of tea, that's for sure, but I would suck it up if it was going to set myself and my family up for life. Maybe get invited out to Lee and Tiffs to hunt and make fun of all their little bucks....hahahaha

Happy for him, I wouldn't be able to control my buck fever to get the job done. I shake like crazy when I see bucks a lot of you guys would let walk. I would fall out of my stand if I saw that thing.
