  1. If I get a new crossbow, my old one will be collecting dust. I am sure I will keep the old one. But that will only be because I won't be able to throw out a perfectly good crossbow. For what my entry level crossbow would be worth used. I doubt I would sell it. It wouldn't be worth wasting my time having people call me, BS me, tell me they are coming to look and never show up. One of the reasons I never sell anything that isn't worth dealing with that hassle. If they ever change the law so that I can hunt with the crossbow more than two weeks a year (which for me means two days a year) I will be upgrading.
  2. I was 4 when my Dad had me at camp shooting the .22. He was right there with me of course..It is probably one of the earliest memories I have. I can remember getting mad that my dad could hit the tin cans and I couldn't. I'm not sure how old I was when I got my Daisy Powerline 880. I would guess 7 or 8. I shot thousands of BB's and Pellets through that gun. Never managed to shoot my eye out. I remember my Dad being shocked that it would go right through an old coffee can.
  3. Beauty of a first gun right there...... My first gun my father bought me is a Remington bolt action .410. I have used it very little all these years. There is a picture of me somewhere with my dad holding the gun and showing it to me. I couldn't have been more than 2. The gun is much taller than me in the picture. Someday ill have to find that pic and upload it here. It still in my gun safe 40+ years later and will be for the remainder of my life.

  7. I love watching my daughter play youth soccer. It is time consuming and costly, especially now that she is on an elite travel team. They are actually off this week and I am not sure what to do with myself. I will miss it when it all comes to an end.
  8. Or fighting off purple dragons....
  9. I just think it is so awesome all the time and effort you put in to your land and the enjoyment you get from other people using it as well. I can't even seem to get my lawn raked this spring......

  16. I have never used that jacket but I have a Cabela's heated vest. I put it on over my base layer and turn it on after I am cooled down from my walk to the stand. I love it, it is like leaning back on a heating pad in the stand. I would think you would want the jacket as an inner layer and layer over it but Idk, I have never used it...
  17. Pretty sure everyone knows that but the governor....
  18. I have a big game double ladder stand with the fabric seats that has been in the woods for 5 or 6 years now in the same tree and it is still in perfect shape. This proves they can make fabric seats that will last in the weather no problem.
  19. We put one of those up on the lease last year and the seat ripped almost instantly. According to my buddy that purchased it Field and Stream wouldn't do anything about it....I'll have to tell him about this....
  20. And then gives you a damn nice prize when you shoot the 100th deer off his property that he does all this work on. I need better friends!!!
  21. My Golden Zimba needed hip surgery at 10 months old. He couldn't even go down up the stairs and he was still basically a puppy. My choices were pay $5000 or have him suffer until I decided to put him down. I paid the 5k on a credit card because I didn't have the money and he was my best friend for the next 12 years. His life was worth every cent I spent on him. I still miss him....
  22. Always amazing Wooly.... Thanks for sharing....
