Buy a new gun for something else that's fun, and take your .308 for the bear. JMO.

I've been playing music for 50 years, and I've been in a lot of studios. I don't always like the people I play with but I always respect them and try to work with them to make the best music we can make. Comedy has to be the same kind of gig. You just leave all that crap at the door and do your job.

I know where your story came from. Just to clear things up, Bannon never threatened to quit. He voluntarily stepped down from the Principal's Committee of the NSC because McMasters started doing his job of separating political intel from international intel. If Kushner is leaking info he'll be fired in a heartbeat. And Flynn's attorney is wisely seeking immunity so that Flynn is protected from further unfounded political harassment. You're believing fake news.

The shots that Rickles used to give to Sammy Davis Jr. were epic. Sammy would be laughing so hard he didn't even have a comeback. Rickles would probably be arrested for that today. In the end they all respected and loved each other. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=P1r8pCVcmG4

He was abrasive in every way, but always funny in the right way. He was 90 years old.

He's a former Obama administration guy cashing in on his previous position. Why would anyone be surprised that he'd accept payment to support illegal activity? -
I briefly played in a band called The Weathermen many years ago. We absolutely sucked, but somehow we still got payed.

I think that once China's Xi speaks with President Trump NK will be a nation standing alone, and Kim will be the kid on the playground that no one wants to talk to. They have nothing that anyone needs or wants, and their ideology has been a proven failure over the last 100+ years. -
Thanks Eddie. I'm quite familiar with Snowden and his activities, I just didn't know about this video. I'll check it out.

I'm not familiar with it, Eddie. A book, or a video?

Consider the Emma Lazarus poem hung on the Statue of Liberty. The key phrase is "...the huddled masses yearning to be free...". More and more we're seeing migrants who aren't "yearning to be free", but rather yearning to transpose the desperation and failures of their native countries onto American soil and the American psyche. That's not what we're about, no matter what the Socialists claim. Everyone is welcome here, but there is one caveat: you have to be willing to add to the American dream as well as take from it. That's what has built our country, and it's actually a pretty simple concept. -
Congratulations Belo!

I'm trying not to take the "easy" argument here, and I certainly agree that parenting is a big part of the overall downfall of the work ethic among American youth. But, remember that the parents of today's youth are themselves the direct product of government regulation that said young people can't be allowed to do hard work. It has rubbed off on their children. It's already second generation, and it's not going to get better as long as the government is allowed to be the parent. -
This is basically a foreign language to me. I need subtitles.

I know several 'big farm' operators, and I do tractor work for some of them. They would be happy to hire kids on summer break to do menial tasks like shoveling manure or moving hay bales. It has nothing to do with low wages or 'wage equality'. Our government has simply decided not to allow kids to work, and in the process has produced at least a generation of kids who don't know what hard work is and how it can be rewarding in it's own right. -

Take that thought just a bit further/deeper and realize that it was government entities 4 decades ago that took away the rights of young people to work those jobs. And that they've effectively taken away the rights of parents to employ their own children on their own family farms and to pass on a work ethic. I find it hard to believe that this current state of affairs is a result of 'unintended' consequences. -
Thank you, folks! One more year of looking at the green side of the lawn!

North Dakota Joins Eight other States

It's obviously not that easy for most people. I resent the fact that I even have to think about it and consider it. Why am I less free and less able to enjoy basics liberties because I was born in one specific part of the country? -
They have standard 1/8" shafts, Wooly. That's what dental hand-pieces use. You might need magnification to actually see the tips on some of them, but the shafts are standard. I think that stuff is all in the basement of my brother's barn, and I'll be there this weekend doing firewood work. I'll definitely see if I can find that box, and I'll be happy to hook you up with an assortment.
