  1. Perfectly placed food plot grampy!! Entertainment for dayyyss lol
  2. Thanks for sharing the link. Just signed up myself.
  3. Watched this last night. That is quite intense. And yet they still get ridiculed. Ive heard a 12ga go off in side the truck once as a child, for some unknown reason lol. I bet that handgun had to be stupid loud as he squeezed those off inside that car.
  4. You will love it man. Just keep the weeds shorter in length and it will rip!
  5. I use one just like it with my quad. (2) 3ft sets bolted together in the middle so they can flex with the ground contours. It works much better than a disk i think. Only down fall is with tall vegetaion, it will wrap and collect around the tines, therefore having to get off and clean the tines occasionally. And it tends to dig up rocks. Otherwise, I love mine, I try to keep a good pace, not to slow not too fast. it will cut better. .
  6. Im always in a hurry so i grab it where i can lol. The first year i planted cereal rye, I had no idea what they sold for. I' went to the local country max and got 50# for 38$ lol. Looking back i cant believe i paid that much. Since then, they have yet to receive my business lol.
  7. Moving in to our new house end of the month lol. Time is running out for me. My beans are kneee high, probably going to kill a share of them if i spray with the atv. I have pics for you on that harrow also. No price on it just a number. Looks real clean and hardly used. Just waiting for the pics to upload from phone
  8. We got some good rain last night. Went to spray yesterday at camp and i think our well went dry. not a drip of water anywhere. Hope after some of this rain I can spray asap.
  9. If nothing is anywheres near local to you, See if you can order from seedway.com. Worse case youll have to email an order or possible phone call. Not sure what brands are carried in Eastern NY
  10. just find your local feed and seed and ask for cereal rye. Th last few years its been around $12-$16/50# around here.
  11. This is what I tell everyone to do that has a tight budget and or for small plots. Perfect idea.
  12. Winter Rye will grow almost anywhere. I have pics where a bird carried seed up into a tree and it grew out of the hollow part of a broken branch. Seen it grow on wheelers and concrete floors. The last time i used WR, i just broadcast it over top of the unbroken soil and it grew well, as long as it rains real good after and germinates before the birds can pick it up. Put it down heavy!
  13. I am going to try and drive through today. I will stop quick and let you know.
  14. The browning website will show you the models and the years they came out. Browning Strike Force is BTC-5, but then the sub models have the markings afterwards (HD, E-Elite, P-Platinum etc..) Dark ops is BTC-6 I believe, Recon Force is BTC-7, and Spec ops is BTC-8 if i remember right. These cams are amazing with zero blur, The night time and twilight pics you will find blurry at times with moving animals, but the daytime pics are normally always crisp and clear, even critters running full speed and birds flying .. They come out very clear. Heres a few from this spring that i saved, Not the best examples but. Very satisfied with Browning.
  15. I meant to tell you WNY, if you were still looking there is a 3pt harrow drag for sale on the side of rt415 in Wallace?Avoca if you were interested still. Looks pretty new yet. I can stop and get pics and info if you'd like next time through.
  16. I have that rivers edge strap seat. it is awesome. I have to have back support no matter where im sitting. after a half hour or so my back hurts so bad without using back support. I try using folding bag camp chairs in the ground blind but they are just so loud it seems
  17. Dont till more than an inch or 2 of soil, the deeper you till the more weed seed you will release. If you wait a couple weeks spray then/again and seed the same day. The smaller the bulbs the more palatable they are. bigger the woodier and less palatable. Not saying they wont eat it but might be a preference thing.. like g-man said fertilize when you seed your plot. till, roll/pack plot, spread seed then roll/pack plot again.
  18. I pass so many does in hope smy wife can fill the freezer. but when my wife hasnt filled a tag yet. A doe can be hard to come by lol. But still fun to get in any contest imo.
  19. I used to always hang it. I usually always had time to pull it off hanger and get ready for a shot. That was until my #1 buck (167") in 2012 snuck in to less than 20 yards of me before i knew it on the last day of gun season, and there sits my ML on the hanger. And then hes 10 yards from me looking, around ready to approach the bulb plot and im maybe 12 ft off the ground. What an adrenaline rush! Now it sits across my lap if I'm sitting or in my arms if standing. lol No taking those chances anymore.. Ill carry a hand warmer pouch so i can put my hands in it and have the hand warmer thing over the gun on my lap while im sitting during gun season.
  20. We got a few rains a week or so ago that helped some for sure. But even my "moist" spots arent so moist lol. The Soil we are talking about!! Not sure when rain is coming again but glad i got my beans in when i did.
  21. Im in, Now I have to find time to hunt! lol
  22. Got a couple out for fawn and poult pics(which i finally just got on cam) 8 more cams will go out next month.
  23. Usually always. Between myself and several neighbors we share our trail cam pics so we know whats running around, and can build up a hit list. Each buck we have taken since sharing pics with eachother has always been one we were aware of.. Ive only taken 1 buck in the last 5 years. Due to many of error on my part. But here is my last buck harvest(2015) and a few trail cam pics. He was 3.5 yr old
  24. Right, I was just curious on the Can am. Never been on one or looked into them. Owned many atvs but love my Honda wheelers since day 1. MY Honder has just under 10k miles, on a 1998 450 still a ton of compression. .. Treated me well for what I have put it through.
