This was all I had. Cheers to the folks who make the site fun and educational. Sent from my SM-S327VL using Tapatalk

I consider each and every member of this site to be a brother or sister in hunting. We may not always see eye to eye, or agree on everything, but we are still a family, and probably the most dysfunctional family in the world, we have all had times where we wanted to duct tape a siblings mouth shut, or worse. Still a family never the less. We all at the heart of it, just love hunting, camping, hiking, fishing, or just flat out being outdoors. When one of us down, most rally around to lend a hand and get things right. That's the thing that keeps me coming back to this site. Do I consider everyone on here a 'friend'? Um, no. This pertains more to the "Political" section then anything. But, I still consider all of us who are actually hitting the woods family. There are some great people on here, and I have learned things about hunting and fishing you won't read in a book, or see on some social media video site. So, to that I say thank you to all of the great people who answer questions and give feedback. Why am I posting this? I really don't know. Just something that came into my head and wanted to get it out there. Now, I am going to go see if I actually have a beer in the fridge and make a toast to some great people.

Why turn this thread into something is isn't at this point.

I have yet to see a wild critter with mange, but I have seen what it can do to pets ( mostly dogs that are allowed to roam free ) if they get infected. It's not pretty, and that animal suffers.

Do you actually like those chips TF? I find some taste OK but most never taste like the intended flavor.

What knife will you be using for hunting this year ?

WHO CARES! The only reason this butt munch is even still relevant is because people keep bringing him up. He's feeding off rancid publicity, and people don't know enough to shut up and let him fade into obscurity! If you don't want to see this DB in the news, then stop broadcasting his propaganda! Look up how the www looks at algorithms and web spiders! Every time you bring his name up you give him publicity, and if you think he cares about negative publicity, you haven't been paying attention! -
The first shot is usually more relaxed when shooting at a target. Then, you want to make that group as tight as possible, so you add pressure to yourself. I am not saying when a deer comes in you are not under pressure, that's the most pressure you will ever feel. But the need to try and 'Robin Hood' seeps in in a target. Just try and stay relaxed for all your shots, and remember to breathe! That's why this thread is here: https://huntingny.com/forums/topic/47369-the-shot-that-counts-2018/

My first 3 shot group so far this season. I was shooting at the black dot I made with a marker. Appx 26 yards. This was about an hour ago, a neighbor saw me walking back inside with my gear and asked if my groups were nice and tight. Then we got to talking, you know how that goes. This is strange. So I check the site about an hour ago, has me signed in like I said, I make a post and log out. I have a render running on my PC so I have been reading through some threads on this site still logged out for about an hour, and no mysterious auto log in's. Time to send some emails to figure this out. Sent from my SM-S327VL using Tapatalk

Take your time brother! Get well, and come back healthy. I am happy to read you got through this. My thoughts and prayers are still with you.

So your thinking it's this site that is wonky again?

Free pass from significant other . Who ?
DirtTime replied to turkeyfeathers's topic in General Chit Chat
No one! My wife shot a few firearms before she met me, but now I taught her how to use them proficiently and effectively. I kind of enjoy being alive and having all parts still attached. That "Hall Pass" crap only works in the movies. There will always be repercussions down the road. LOL That dude is gonna kick your ass by any means necessary, then file for divorce with his one alloted phone call while being processed at the local precinct. Real life isn't the Jerry Springer Show. -
I log out, 5 minutes later it logs me back in. Sent from my SM-S327VL using Tapatalk

I have no idea if this a real pic or some Photo Shop mock-up. If it's real, that dude on the right of the pic is a little too comfy with whatever that is stuck in his "exit only" area.

In my local Wallyworld not only have prices changed, so have the products. A few days ago I stopped in to get tags, and I noticed something odd while looking at arrows, CE arrows were not available. Mossy Oak seems to have taken that spot on the shelves, and there were more Easton arrows then usual. I am making a guess with Easton being sold last year, they might be making a push to sell at Wallyworld more. But, can't for the life of me figure out why CE would pull out.

It's only sold in Stewart Shops.

Must Have ATV Features
DirtTime replied to JALA RUT's topic in ATV's , UTV's, Dirtbikes & Snowmobiles
Basic features.... Racks front and back, I still like a no clutch manual transmission, 4x4, and aggressive tires. Tire repair kit ( including that green goop that seals the tires and blocks leaks ), a good grade hehmet, a trickle system to keep batteries charged when you don't use the ATV for long periods of time ), a gas additive which helps clear the crap from old gas and also helps keep the lines and carb clean. A realisation that it has a motor and needs to be maintained. As for add ons, rifle and bow holders, sturdy foot racks ( pegs are a PITA on rough terrain ), some LED bulbs for headlights, a spare battery, and trailer. You can get as fancy as you want with add on after market parts. Sent from my SM-S327VL using Tapatalk -
