  1. Sounds like it won't be back in that condition. But if so, I would try Animal Control. They might respond faster. Or, SSS. Sent from my XT830C using Tapatalk
  2. Probably another decade and a half. LOL [emoji4] Sent from my XT830C using Tapatalk
  3. Been years since I had one of these. Sent from my XT830C using Tapatalk
  4. Will give them a call tomorrow, thanks Adkhunter. Sent from my XT830C using Tapatalk
  5. Hillmans. Sorry, been working on prices.
  6. Very sorry for your loss.
  7. No, Sweet Baby Ray's Sweet And Spicy. I did try a few Stubb's marinades and they were good. Just used what we already had. Sent from my XT830C using Tapatalk
  8. You should all dress up in bunny suits. That would be legendary. Get some pics of the crowd reaction. LOL. Sent from my XT830C using Tapatalk
  9. High and muddy around me, same basic area as Hudson Valley. Going to walk down to the creek Thursday morning and give it a whirl. Sent from my XT830C using Tapatalk
  10. BBQ pork chops. Sent from my XT830C using Tapatalk
  11. Just finished dinner. Sitting outside with a cold one. Sent from my XT830C using Tapatalk
  12. I didn't and can't. I will have to it towed to the shop.
  13. Any way to put some camo burlap around the platform on the ladder stand?
  14. I'm down for the count. Kind of pi$$ed about it. Spen't a good amount of time in the woods last season hearing only one gobble. This season was looking good. Decided to go Papists route and go out a little later Tuesday morning. 7AM got my camo on, start my truck, load the gun and my pack up. Get in the truck, press the break pedal to put it in gear, pedal felt weird, so I give it a good push, it goes to the floor. Lights come on, try a couple times and again the pedal goes to the floor. Get out to have a look and the drivers side front break line had exploded. Local (new ) mechanic was booked solid all this week and next week, so have to call again Monday to see if I can get it in the week of the 22nd. For anyone feeling the need to say I am making excuses, please, drop me a PM. I will give you my address and you can stop by and see for yourself. Then we can call the mechanic and you can hear for yourself he's booked. Is that defensive, yep! It's a learned reaction around here these days. I wish all you people still out there the best of luck!
  15. A lot of shows were canceled, so what? I agree this show being canceled was sad. But you still have "The Americans" and "Designated Survivor". Liberals wrote most of the story, and some lines even had Tim Allen stating he would have gone that far. Here's an interview with Allen about the show and politics: http://www.hollywoodreporter.com/news/how-tim-allens-last-man-859204 Pay attention to this one:
  16. What would those consequences be? Seriously? There's a push to also include air rifles, and it seems most people don't have an issue with them, I wonder what season they will get shoved into when approved?
  17. Congrats on that monster bird! Still pulling for you and your daughter to get a double TF!
  18. I know that now. My post was a year old, before I moved out this way and started hunting the area. There's Partridge Run ( as mentioned ), Margaret Burke, and Black Creek Marsh as well. If your willing to drive a bit, here's a link to some public land. http://www.dec.ny.gov/outdoor/48283.html Not to mention the state land in 4A.
  19. 39 here, feels more like bow hunting weather. Had some chatter a ways off. Sent from my XT830C using Tapatalk
  20. I did. This morning. So ends the saga of an innocent candy bar. It passed just after an, um... lets just say 'a short break in the hunt for reasons not specified'.
  21. If I get one I could mail some turkey feathers to you. Um, mailing turkey feathers to turkey feathers. Now that's something that probably doesn't happen often.
  22. Par for the course. Black Creek Marsh first and then Kier. Both have birds in and around the area ( more so BCM ), plenty of AGF's around as well. Did plenty of road glassing and getting in looking for scrapes and scat, have not roosted them as I rarely bother trying on public land. It does work, but to my personal experience most times they aren't in the spot you left them in the night before.
  23. Not a gobble on two state land's ..... But on the way home... Sent from my XT830C using Tapatalk
  24. Cold out here until the sun got up. Quiet. Heading to second place and a hot coffee break. Sent from my XT830C using Tapatalk
