  1. I have no clue on the terms of his getting paid. I just remember him saying he didn't want to be paid for doing what other POTUS should have done. If he donates his pay, I hope he stays on the same path.
  2. Seriously? I am starting to think certain bow hunters are anti-gun.
  3. I want to see a pic from anyone who has a 300yd view/shot in the woods. Not a tree-line overlooking a clearing, not shooting from the woods into a field, a full on 300yd view through the woods! I'm sorry, 300yds through underbrush and trees is rare. If in a tree stand it's impossible in the woods!
  4. Just remember folks, everyone got all excited and thought Spring was here and Winter was over back in February when we had some unseasonably ( record breaking ) high temps. We got a blizzard a few weeks later. Just sayin'.
  5. Not sure I can explain it, I am not the connoisseur of beer like some on here. I know what tastes good to me. I will try though... It's a bit bitter, and hoppy, but still very good. Not fruity or sweet. It's kind of like a Yuengling Black and Tan on steroids. I honestly can't explain it. If you find one near you give it a try, just don't have it with pasta, it's more of a red meat or grilled/bbq'd chicken kind of beer IMO. Seems like it would be great to soak some brats in to make beer brats.
  6. I thought he said he wasn't going to accept getting paid for being POTUS? At least his first donation went to a proper venue.
  7. Personally, I think the AR's are BS! Just like I think the other AR restrictions are BS! I want the freedom to shoot w/e deer I choose without interference, I pay for my license the same as those who choose shoot bigger bucks by choice. Why should I or anyone who thinks like I do have be subject dealing with a a sort of 'elitist' way of hunting? We shouldn't. We should have the right to hunt w/e deer we want, we all should. If you choose to hunt older bucks, good for you! If you choose to hunt a spike, not a damn thing wrong with that either! I am so sick of being told what deer to hunt, what I can say and can't say, what guns I can and cannot own, what flag I want to display, what ammo I should shoot, what vehicle I should drive, what religion I should follow, and on, and on, and on,....and ON! FFS! Just let hunters choose how and what they want to hunt! It's not that hard really! Just allow individuality!
  8. Was just outside and heard the peepers for the first time this year. Still not going to allow myself to get over excited that Spring is here. Seen to many a time when we got a good size snowstorm in April. I will be putting the snowblower away this weekend, but the snow shovel will stay by the front steps until at least the start of turkey season.
  9. It works. It's the same way you would 'bore sight' a bolt action without the proper tools, or the "old fashioned way". You put a black dot on a piece of blank paper, tape the paper up at about 20 feet, remove the bolt from the rifle/shotgun, secure the gun, look down the barrel and move the gun until the dot is in the center of the barrel. Now, move the cross-hairs/dot in the scope to be on the dot. You won't be "dialed in", but you will be on paper and should be close.
  10. Baked ziti with sausage. Sent from my XT830C using Tapatalk
  11. Picked up another Missippi Mud. Really like this beer. Sent from my XT830C using Tapatalk
  12. My take is let the hunter make thier own moral decisions on what they want to hunt. Sent from my XT830C using Tapatalk
  13. I hope so. Trump said this morning that if China doesn't want to help that the US is prepared to deal with the issue alone. Sanctioning NK doesn't do any good because they really don't produce anything the rest of the world needs. Sent from my XT830C using Tapatalk
  14. I guess you don't get sarcasm. My reference to God and Jesus, was that if you are so sanctimonious wolc123, you would not use a car to kill deer! I don't care who's car you have had "Accidents" hitting deer with. Still a form of poaching in my book. I could have filled every one of my tags, and my fiancée could have too if vehicles were a legal hunting implement. Sadly, we prefer to use rifles and shotguns. You really don't see the problems with the things you post do you? Carry on hypocrite. If the higher powers don't bless you, maybe FireStone will.
  15. For me, spicy fried chicken and Jalapeno Pringles. For the fiancee, chicken nuggets and fries in the oven. Sent from my XT830C using Tapatalk
  16. Didn't you post in another thread that you take pride in running deer over with your car? Using those regulations to kill deer of any sort? So how will this bill effect you exactly? I am sure God and Jesus do not approve of your hunting methods! I still don't see why everyone is making a huge deal out of this. It's still in committee stages. Not even on the floor yet. Oh yeah right. This is NYS. Complaining is genetic.
  17. If it's not related, then why bother posting on this thread?
  18. And just what sub-titles do you need?
  19. They been doing it for years. You can use a VPN, or set up Proxy servers, but you will never be 100% safe. If someone wants your info, they will get it. Just look at Wiki Leaks. If they can crack into govt files, you think a VPN or Proxy will save you? I do not agree with a law that allows the sale of your info, but everything has a price. You buy a house you have to pay for maintenance, you buy a car you have to pay for maintenance, and technology comes with price as well. How many on here have "auto pay" for things like insurance, car payments, or credit cards? Buy things on-line? Your security settings do not pertain to companies you do business with. If they decide to sell your information under this new proposal, there's not a damn thing you can do about it. We wanted technology, we wanted an easy paperless-no trips to the bank society, well, we have it. Welcome to the future.
  20. NK is a blight on the world. But if we get to overly aggressive, it could turn on the USA. We need to stand our ground and not back down, but we also need to be smart about it. We aren't dealing with a rational man here, Jong-un had his half brother killed with chemicals. He's a monger! With strong allies.
  21. So you are proud to have a collection of balls. Um.............. Yeah........So,---....... Well..... I guess we all need a hobby?
  22. Streams around here are high and super muddy. Was hoping they would get better, but more rain in the forecast. Gives me time to get some lightweight gear and some tackle geared for trout fishing.
  23. I cannot answer that, nor can most answer why certain WMU's in the NZ get DMP's, while most do not. I posted an image similar to the one below a while back, but revised it a bit a few months ago. It's my personal perception of how the areas of NYS are divided by section. I believe the NZ - SZ line was created to section off the actual northern part of the state. As it is the most remote area of this state.
  24. Again I agree. That is a fact. I guess I was trying to make a moot point about hunting just to get in the books.
