I'd be interested in hearing why you feel 3 1/2's are a necessity for turkey.

Are there any good fish in that place? Fished it for an entire Summer a few years ago and only caught bait.

Same here. Two days of 40*+ temps to soften the ground, a day of rain, then more or less a full day of sleet. Not even putting rock salt out there, won't do any good- just melt the top then tonight it will freeze up again and just make it worse tomorrow.

Just a few things I've done over the past year or so. Carved the pawn above with a knife I built.

Get a knife that carves pretty nice and call it a day. You'll save money on cable and make yourself some nice stuff.

At least head to the Catskills Bill. Get a hundred miles or so away from the city. You're near Rochester right? I'm pretty sure you could make that happen for less then what your Elite's cost.

Well, the 150 acres is if we hit the lottery LOL. That place above wouldn't work for me, I want woods and no farm lands.

I'd want about 150 acres, all wooded except a nice yard area. We are already looking ( no we didn't win the lottery ) and we know what we want, just not finding it on the market.

We pay less then half of that for our cabin and don't have to share it with anyone we don't invite. About 70,000 acres of 'shared' land to hunt in an hour drive. Plenty of hiking and fishing in the area as well.

A trophy is usually made of wood and plastic or metal, all metal, or all plastic. Every once in a while they are make of all wood, they make great tinder.

I enjoy hunting with my wife as often as she can get out. Other then that, I just want to be left alone. Hunting mainly public land being alone isn't always in the cards.

I went out the other day for some small game hunting. I was the only thing in those woods, every other living critter was smart enough to stay holed up with a real feel of 8*. I did however find something I haven't seen in that area in a few years. Rabbit poop! A good amount of rabbit tracks as well. That was worth the trip even if I was the dumbest creature with a heartbeat roaming around. Downside is there was also a ton of coyote tracks in the area.

Maybe have a look at the people who trash the "Live From The Woods" thread with political BS while you're at it. You seem like an intelligent person, so there's no way in hell you can come up with anything to defend either parties vilification in that thread.
