For real? You just noticed that? I guess you have never been outdoors in the cold before. Option 1: Stop breathing. I am sure the results can't be that bad. Just hold your breath until you pass out, the deer won't notice anything. Option 2: Find a vampire and ask them to turn you. They are dead and don't breath.

If you like eating raw oysters or clams, then you should be fine eating tongue and "mountain oysters".

Looking good grow. Keep us posted on the progress.

This is a good starting point, and will get you going. But, don't go on private land just because it isn't posted. It's still trespassing. Get permission. If they don't have the land posted they will most likely be willing to let you hunt there. It also shows the land owner that as a hunter you have enough respect for them to ask. It's just promotes good relations. Boots to ground! If you are using a gun get out there and learn the land, if there are dwellings and in what direction they are. Ask questions, here and to other hunters. By asking questions you can get advice that might take you years to learn alone.

G/F is having hot dogs and garlic fries. I am having fresh ( pre chucked ) oysters and a salad.

No etiquette broken. We don't have that here, well, except for cussing. Just odd when people ask for dead birds or animals.

That's the big issue. We have the NRA and a few other organizations that are set to mainly keep the Second Amendment alive. But, not many to keep hunting alive. Whether you hunt deer, or want the dove season added, how do we compete with the mass conglomerates, lawyers, and political influence the anti's have? No matter what we do in NY ( or any where ), we will never have the millions of dollars to really fight or campaign again't the anti's. All we can do is send letters to politicians that most times, probably ignore us. The DEC has it's head in the wrong place ( if you get what I mean ). So how do we organize or really make a statement?

Democrats Are The Party Of Gun Control.
DirtTime replied to Mr VJP's topic in Gun and Hunting Laws and Politics Discussions
When was that said? Who said make it easier? There's nothing wrong with deeper background checks. But, that will not help stop foreign terrorism! The two ass wads that committed that atrocity in CA on Wednesday were squeaky clean, according to BG check. What did that do? Ask the families of the people who went though that ordeal. There's a thread around here that I cannot find right now about Obama has the tools to get most of the filth off the street but he does nothing. No politician really does. The only thing gun control does it take guns from the people who have a legal right to own them. Do you really think Jack Eyed Joe who can't legally own a firearm won't be able to get one anyway? You think the scum bags that want to decimate our country won't be able to get illegal guns? So where do you sit in that one? The best way to concur a country is disarm the citizens. That's what's going on. So are you are a part of a solution, or part of the problem? -
There ya go, send her to eddie!
-
Well if it is I sure as hell don't want her returned!

I also use the flip-up covers. They keep water out ( to a big extent ). I plan to get the see through flip ups for next season. When I had those slip on covers I would use: Puffer and a super soft cloth/lens wipe. Have even used my eyeglass wipes, they are not harmful to the scope lens coating.

Looks like my ex-wife. Haven't seen her in over 20 years but she looks better now.

I only see two pics, he's dead in both. LOL One is on the ground, and the other on your quad.

DirtTime replied to Huntscreek's topic in Gun and Hunting Laws and Politics Discussions
That was certainly a direct and blunt way to put it. I liked it, thank you for posting this Huntscreek. The damage is done, and even if they were able to impeach him now, it wound make no difference with less then a year to go. We have to hope the next person into office can start fixing things. -
Dandy of a buck, congrats.

Sorry it wasn't up to your standards Larry. I found this to be the best point:

I looked at the site and was wondering the same thing. I was also wondering the WMU's in the ADK and Upstate they hunt deer in. Just for curiosity sake. Seeing some of the hunts say wilderness hunts.
