    Crazy....

Been way too warm and wet around here, for me to even think about going ice fishing!! But see every year, some guys out on thin ice for a few perch. Crazy is right!
  2. All good so far, from the tablet through google chrome.
  3. Just how many $1000 Walmart gift cards are they giving out???
  4. I'd take a nice clean 120ish inch eight point, over that mess every time!
  5. At the big casino buffets, I just close my mind. And open my mouth!
  6. I predict a 2020 ring for the Yanks! You heard it here first Biz!
  7. True........but for the foreseeable future they will be looking up at the Yankees! The 2020s do not look too good for the Sawx.
  8. So is this something that now infects all of our devices? Is there a way to get rid of it?
  9. Same for me on my Android tablet last night. I just gave up.
  10. I do know of it Rob. But haven't spent any time in there to speak of. Did a few deer hunts over that way years ago, but found Partridge Run much more to my liking. It's a good sized area though. And I'm sure you could find a place to camp back in there. My In-laws are from Huntersland, not too far from there.
  11. And they'll charge you $90 to bring in your own wine!
  12. Could be a nice predator rig? Good luck with the sale!
  13. Hopefully Jay and some of the others out there can join ya Matt? Knowing you as an almost neighbor, fellow club member, and all around great guy. And being I have met some of the WNY guys, who are ALL great! I know for sure, you'd all have a great GTG!!!! Post up a pic later!
  14. Most everything I've read on the 204 has been very good for predators. A gun shop owner told me he could build me a NY compliant AR in 204 for $800 - $900. Will still need some glass, and a light set up. But getting the stuff to reload the 204, may be more of a pain than the 223, which can be found everywhere.
  15. Man, we love em so much. And it's a sad day when we say goodbye to our furry friends. They certainly make our loves better. And even when they grow old, it seems they leave us way too soon. So sorry you and your Mrs had to say goodbye to Max, Eddie. I think I got something in my eye is all........
  16. Curious what you guys use for a rangefinder at night? Is a bull barrel on an AR platform a must?? I know the bull barrel is more accurate. But I'm thinking less weight to carry may be a better option, for me anyways. With long walks to set up spots. How accurate are the standard ARs, for ranges of about 100 yards or so? (kinda looking to get one) We usually don't have many shots much beyond that.
  17. Welcome!! Real nice to have you with us!!
  18. Nice work! Looks awesome!
  19. This was just a reminder folks, that united we stand, divided we fall. There are many out there who despise us, for who we are, and what we do. And would love nothing better, than to see hunting as we know it abolished. Now, on to what calibers are best for deer, and the crossbow thread!
  20. I really like that seat Jay! Where did you get it? Looks comfortable.
  21. Bills....would'a....could'a....should'a....won that game. Were up 16 to 0 in the third quarter. I still say Allen will be a good NFL QB at some point. But we saw his growing pains tonight.
  22. Most our ladder stands only have two sections of ladder on them and are only 8 or 9 feet up. Some the full 15 feet high. Also have some with only 1 section on, and hidden in hemlocks or pines where being lower offers a clearer shot. I'm more comfortable, and successful from the ground. But if I do hunt a ladder stand, I prefer to keep em as low as possible. As long as they are hidden well, I don't think there is an advantage in going higher, for me anyways. As long as they are placed properly.
