  1. Love it!!! I'll say again, you could make a killing at the farmers markets, or flea markets during the summer! Your stuff is so unique, it would sell faster than you could make it. If I was strolling past a booth, with stuff like this, you would definitely be getting some of my greenbacks! Keep em coming Matt! Every time you post another picture, I'm like, wow, how does he do that?
  2. They always seem to know, we will help them. Part of the deal, I guess. Glad she is ok.
  3. Awesome work wooly! You never cease to amaze me! Your talent knows no bounds. That really is cool! If I am lucky, and kill a buck this year, I know where I'd like to send it! I'll have to make you an offer you can't refuse, $$..... I've gone to euro mounts the last couple years. And I really like them. The only way I'll do another full mount, is if it scores over 150. Not to likely in my neck of the woods.
  4. Me either. I was just being goofy.....lol Now back to your thread!
  5. #baitingNwaiting #reelingWfeeling #mission4fishin More my style!
  6. Too old for girls on my boat. But never too old to look at em on other boats or beaches!
  7. Cool pic's! Gotta give that critter props for determination! lol.....
  8. Get a roll of gorilla tape! Can't tell you how many times it's come in handy on my boat. A tube of crazy glue has helped in a pinch more than a few times. An extra length of dock rope, cause ya never know? Sunscreen! A decent pair of binoculars. A marine band radio is always a good idea if you are on the bigger lakes. A dash mounted compass has come in handy too. And a good first aid kit is a must!
  9. Just want to give a big "Thumbs Up" and a "High Five" to all the youth hunters and their mentors, who participated over the weekend. You young people are the future of hunting! And the future is bright from what I'm seeing! And all you experienced guys are giving the spark to ignite the flame. You should all be so proud! Still have until the end of May, to those youngsters who have not yet got their bird! So be sure to post those pic's and stories!
  10. Congratulations Hunter! Beautiful tom! Way to go!
  11. Spoken like a true man, that's been married awhile! I learned early on, the two words needed for a long and happy marriage. Yes dear.....
  12. Wow! That is an awesome buck! And a beautiful mount! And the cape does match really well with the original. Great job!
  13. Nice work! Looks great! All ya gotta do now is reel em in!
  14. There is absolutely no valid excuse for shooting another hunter, under any circumstance!!! Not if you are following all the firearm safety rules! Disregard the basic rules and throw out common sense, and this is what you get!
  15. Congratulations Sarah! That's a very nice turkey! You did very well and I liked the story too! You're so lucky to have a teacher/mentor like Mr. Jordan, and friends that you can enjoy hunting with. It's so awesome to have young hunters in the woods! Best of luck to you in all of your future hunting adventures!
  16. What an awesome story Haley! You really did great! Congratulations! That is a great Tom right there! Your Dad is so proud of you I'm sure. Me, and I bet a lot of people from this hunting site are sending you a BIG High Five!
  17. Is it being suggested that Larry has serious heat in the nether region? Guess he's not so old after all!
  18. Nice truck! Even if it does gave a sissy bed carpet.
  19. What a great weekend for all the youth hunters! And some very nice birds taken! Congratulations! Zac didn't get a bird this weekend, but we definitely had fun trying!
  20. Congratulations Kayden! Beautiful bird! Nice work mowin! What a great weekend for the youth hunters!
  21. What a difference a day can make! Yesterday, not one gobble. This morning they are going nuts! But unfortunately, Zac twisted his ankle, trying to beat out an infield hit in last nights baseball game. ( still getting used to wearing metal cleats) He's got some swelling and he's limping a bit, and will start today's game behind the plate. But no hunting today. The birds are on our property so will still be there next weekend. Was hoping to get it done this weekend before his baseball schedule ramps up, playing for two teams, and my scheduled surgery on the 4th. Congratulations to the youth hunters who have gotten birds! Some real nice ones! Love seeing those pic's! And good luck to the ones still out there!
  22. Way to go Addison! Congratulations! Nice work reeltime! Beautiful bird and great story too!
  23. About 40 yards up from this spot was tore up pretty good. Over the years we've taken a number of decent bucks in this area. The turkeys use this area a good bit too. As it borders a couple large hay fields.
  24. Three set ups zero turkeys. Saw turkeys in each set up but didn't hear one gobble all morning! After getting up from the first set, I bumped one that I'm sure was coming to us. Dang it! Just couldn't pull them away from the hens. Tried getting the hens riled up and did, but never got them closer than 75 yards. We had a great time together though. And we're not giving up! But I may be handicapping him with my turkey skills........lol
