  1. I have a mental picture of you, being chased around the neighborhood, by a pack of crazed beaglesl
  2. C'mon man, I may be an A-hole to trespassers. But I would never insinuate SHOOTING someone!!! Let's be real here. Besides, "you" can always sic "Jesus" on em.
  3. Part of our farm property borders state land. There is no place on the property line where you can not see a posted sign. We don't have near the trespassing problems now, than we did years ago. First thing we did was to become the biggest pricks in the area!! If we heard a shot or found someone trespassing, we would harass the hell out of them in no uncertain terms. Second thing we did was to allow some law enforcement guys to hunt the property. In return for the hunting rights they were to write a citation to anyone caught trespassing! Word got out quickly. And now we have nowhere near the trespassing problem we used to have. But we are still the biggest A-holes you would ever meet up with if we catch you trespassing! And still have a couple LEO's hunting with their citation books! Most times the citations are dropped or a small fine is payed. But the harassment and or court appearance deters most from coming back. Just not worth it. I consider myself as an easy going friendly guy. Until I catch you trespassing on my land! Nothing personal, it's just the way it has to be! And it works!
  4. X-2 ! It's been on my mind since last season. Sure would be nice to have one for this season!
  5. Thanks for the 2017 trail cam preview phade! We are lucky to have you here to answer all our trail cam questions and get sound advice. And I appreciate the no BS, good and bad info on the cams as well. I know, for myself and many others here, you are "the" go to guy, for trail cam advice and purchases. Again, Thank You!
  6. Very nice choice! And the LL Bean return policy is second to none, if any issue should come up. I have never regretted a purchase from there. Quality, fit and finish has been great with all LL Bean outdoor garments I've purchased over the years.
  7. The most important thing is that everyone is going to be OK. The rest of the stuff, although a real pain in the butt, can be worked out, after you both are feeling a little better. It could have turned out much worse, and you are very fortunate. For now, count your blessings. Then, a good lawyer may be your next best option.
  8. I've learned from your troubles Larry. - Sleep on bad news - Don't be late going to the bank - Never argue with the wife!!! Now I'll probably get a ticket before the end of the month.......
  9. I was a resident there many, many moons ago. Nice place. What beach., Yankee or Vallano?
  10. Two very nice bucks, congratulations again! It was you and your Dad if I remember correctly. Love seeing that.
  11. Stick with him! It's truly a rarity, these days to always get a job well done, AND "your" meat back. We started doing our own quite a few years ago. Because even then, we couldn't find a place where could get both at the same time. I actually enjoy doing it myself now. And would never even think to bring my deer to someone else.
  12. Let me know how you like the Wicked Lights. I may have to order a set. Got a small hand held and looking to upgrade too. Good luck out there with the yotes!!
  13. Nice coyote gun! At a good price too. I would put a Boyd's stock on that and be good to go! My buddy just put a Boyd's on his Axis, and what a difference it made to that gun! Good luck with the sale.
  14. That looks exactly how I like mine. But you should get what you ask and pay for. Ever think about doing it all yourself? Then it is always, done exactly how you want it done.
  15. I Think McDermott will be a good fit for the Bill's. I'm not a Bill's fan, but I do want to see them do well. And perhaps knock down the Patriots a notch or two.
  16. That picture is a keeper! Very nice artwork for a four year old! You have every reason to be a proud father, of your little hunter girl. So cool to see stuff like this!
  17. These, I'm sure are very nice bino's. I've never looked through a pair of $2000 binoculars. I really am curious as to what the biggest difference is between these and my $200 Nikon's. And I'm sure they are clearer, and gather light better and all that. But I really want to know what makes them 10X more money? To me my Nikons are pretty clear and are decent in low light, for my hunting situations. Though I don't hunt out west, where the difference could be huge. This is in no way a slam on these very nice Zeiss binoculars. I am just looking to learn something is all.
  18. This will be something I'd like to do, when I finally retire in a few years. There are a couple local farms, that produce some very good syrup. I always make it a point to stop by when they are cooking down the sap. I love the smells and the good conversations! These guys have told me when I'm ready, that they have enough stuff to get me started on a small scale. And are willing to help with tips and advice, as well. Just what I need, another hobby! But I'm looking forward to putting something else on the table, that I procured myself.
  19. If I ever saw a deer like that, close enough for a shot. It would be my heart that stopped beating, not the deer's. Heck, just the run of the mill eight points around here get my heart pounding!
  20. It's always fun to meet members from here. So yesterday I met up, for coffee, with biggamefish, at the Mobil in East Berne.. What a knowledgeable and good guy! He has property, close by, in between my two properties. So we compared trail cam pic's and hunting stories and even a few fishing yarns. He really has it together, as far as what he wants to get out of his land and deer hunting in general. He is also a member of a hunting club, I'm on the waiting list to join! Hope to share a hunt and perhaps a fishing trip this year, with a true outdoorsman! Nice meeting you Matt!
  21. I'd just stick to thinking about hunting.
