  1. I always knew you were destined to do bigger and better things in the hunting world! I find you're youthful exuberance refreshing and contagious. Best of luck to you young man!
  2. Super nice pic's! Look's like you are in great shape for May 1st.
  3. Great set up! Looks awesome and nicely organized. Love that work bench!
  4. This is really a great site. The vast majority of members here are knowledgeable, passionate, hunters and outdoorsmen. The tips and advice, pictures, encouragement, humor and yes, even the differing of opinions. Make this site the great gathering place that it is. I look forward to the changes to make it even better! I took the time today to become a supporting member. It's something I've been wanting to do anyway. In the year and a half I have been a member, I've gotten much more from this site, than the fee for a supporting membership. In a small way, it's kind of giving back to something I enjoy, most every day. I encourage all of my fellow members, if so inclined and able to do so, to join me in becoming a supporting member! In my humble opinion, it's well worth it.
  5. Sometimes, our overwhelming passion for something, blinds us, from all else.
  6. Sorry, I don't want to hijack this thread on crossbow inclusion issues. To answer your question, I'm for just about anything that would put together an organized urban hunt proposal. I do think it's a good thing. Even though I have private land to hunt and may or may not participate in an urban hunt myself. I think a good number of bow hunters would love the opportunity for more urban hunting, given the chance to do so. Like I said previously, it's a win, win for all involved. And if joining NY Bowhunters could pave the way to making urban hunting opportunities a reality, here in the capitol district or anywhere. I would not be against becoming a member.
  7. As I am for full inclusion for crossbows, I don't think NY Bowhunters, would want me as a member.
  8. I'm no expert but it looks like the ole' two step viper! Ya got two steps, after it bites you, before you're dead!
  9. My dream rifle has always been a fully customized M-14. Not sure if I can see that dream come true in NY state though.
  10. Coming together nicely! Wishing you a speedy and full recovery after your surgery.
  11. Happy new gun day! Nice one for sure! Got pic's?

    FMJ Ammo

I'veuote name="wildcat junkie" post="460385" timestamp="1458605169"] Probably the same guy that claims that the "7mm ought 8" is a magnum because ought 8 is bigger than ought 6 & his brother in law shot a der @ 3000yds W/one. Using FMJ for any game other than maybe a charging Cape Buffalo or elephant is asinine.. I've met that guy too! Lol.......
  13. I think it's an excellent idea! Win, win situation for all involved. Also I think it would and could work in the Capitol District. PM me if there is anything I can do to help you.
  14. That's great Biz! Best of luck to you and Dad on your hunting adventures there!
  15. Nice mount! Try turning your phone or device sideways when you take the pic? I can't tell you why, but it seems to work for me? I'm perhaps the least computer savy person on this forum, so keep that in mind too!
  16. X-2. This is a great bow with draw length adjustment and poundage adjustable from 35 to 60 pounds. It will grow with him and can be used to hunt deer when he's ready.
  17. I see fishers quite often on our hunting properties. Very cool animals! Haven't gotten one on a cam yet. I'll have to work on that!
  18. No telling how long it would have been there if you didn't pluck it out Lawdwaz. Way to go! I too, pack out trash whenever I can. Never a TV though!
  19. I find it amazing, how some of you guy's build your rifles and loads. Cool stuff!
  20. I'm always asking myself, where are the deer coming from, where are they going to, and why? Then putting boots on the ground to find the answers. This applies to private or public property that I hunt. And it can change somewhat from year to year.
  21. Ya know, that could be a record trouser trout. I wonder if our Birthday Boy had it measured?
  22. Happy Birthday! Hope your day is filled with all the good stuff! Family, friends and good food. Nothin but the best for you!
  23. Those close encounters are always so cool! I consider it an honor each time.
