Hope you feel better real soon!

I never hunt without my fanny pack. So, no matter what I'm wearing or how many layers, still have it with me and in plain sight.
-
Is it cold in here or does she really think I'm cute?
-
Nope, not for me. If the look of shriveled up little fish with their heads still on, doesn't turn me away. It's the smell of shriveled up little fish with their heads on, in some kind of goop! That closes the deal for me!

Betcha my hotwheels is faster than your matchbox.

Beautiful guitar! What pickups did you use. Classic's or something hotter? If you ever build another, just to play it, I see a road trip and a six pack in my future!
-
Sure wish they would give crossbows full inclusion though.
-
LOL.....now that's funny!

Good ta go. Good nuff. Good for nuthin.

Yes, been in there a few times! Even played around with the six string banjo he kept around. Awesome guy and place. Was sorry to see the closed sign.

Watched it for the first time this week. I'll watch it again.

There is a town of Berne in Albany county. In that area of Berne, there is Partridge Run, that is state land. Lots of land for hiking and hunting. Both can be very good there! I know of two nice bucks taken there last deer season. And I took one there myself a few years ago. I would say it's also less crowded than some of the downstate places you mentioned. Good luck and welcome to the site!

I sometimes wonder, if these conversations were held in person, would they denigrate into the childish name calling and posturing that seems to take over so many threads. Maybe, maybe not. Perhaps it's easier to sit behind a keypad and just say whatever pops in to your head. Without having to look someone in the eye and see where they may be coming from on any given issue. And perhaps find a common ground? Or agree to disagree? I'm old enough to remember the time before keypads. And I don't remember people being so regularly confrontational speaking face to face, eye to eye. When coming on this "hunting forum" do you ask yourself a question? Do I want to contribute hunting related information or just argue with someone? I think there are some that are much better at arguing than hunting.

Rob, did you deer hunt in there this past season? Just curious on how it is over there.

Have never owned a Ford........yet! My son has a 2015 Explorer. I like it. Neighbor has a F 250. I like it. Been a Chevy guy most of my life. Though I have a Nissan Frontier now, that has been a good truck.

I know law enforcement has a job to to and they just want to go home at the end of their shift. That being said, it seems like after you gave all the answers, to his questions, and were cooperative in every way. He could have lightened up a bit more on you, towards the end of the encounter. I commend you for keeping your cool, for the benefit of both yourself and the police officer.

When we all signed into this site, we all agreed to abide by the set rules of this site. I don't consider it censorship if you break those set rules and are reprimanded or banned by the administration. A little common sense and common courtesy go a long way to make the site, more enjoyable for the vast amount of members. Sometimes we can just agree to disagree , and leave it at that. JMO

The moose lodge on 30a across from the chevy dealership in Johnstown. I know what ya mean though. That area does have it's share of "characters". But everything about the show was real nice. We had a great time!
