  1. Bash away if you want. My opinion is,has always been and will be, that only a man and woman should be married. Not really gay bashing, you are who you are,I get that. There could be civil unions, got no problem with that. This country and world we live in these days, seems to be going to hell in a hand basket.
  2. Cool critter pic, but I can't make out anything in it's mouth ether. Even got my good glasses to look!
  3. Life is now smiling at you! Just smile back.
  4. Thanks,I needed a reminder.
  5. I have shot deer wearing jeans and a flannel shirt, red/black and green/black checkered, treebark, mossyoak, realtree camo, snow camo and blaze orange. As long as I set up in a good spot with the wind in my face and be as quiet and still as I can be, I could most likely shoot one in a loin cloth.
  6. I would say he has injured the pedicle too. But in a couple of years he will have a very unique and interesting set of antlers. I'd let him grow, just to see how he turns out. And who knows,he may grow a normal set next year. Ya just never know!
  7. I've said it before. The only scents that make sense to me,is common sense for deer hunting.
  8. Mountain Lion!.......................
  9. After I spend four and a half hours mowing the yard, my wife says she is going out to trim the hedges in front of the house. Translated to....she want's me to do the hedges too.
  10. Anything that screws into the tree is not legal on public land.
  11. Seems to me that if it were not for the "trading post" they would really be good hunter gatherers. I think I remember this film from high school in the 70's.
  12. These guy's are not woodsmen, like Bucky was. I don't think they have been in the woods for two weeks and avoided the massive search teams looking for them. More likely to be holed up somewhere outside of the search area. Don't think they are sill together ether. If they were smart enough to break out, they have to know that it's easier to hide out on your own, going in different directions.
  13. Cool pic's! Nice job! And it's ok, none of us are in the same league as wooly!

    DADS

To all the Dads, Stepdads, Grandpa's and Great Grandpa's, Happy Fathers Day! Nice job guy's.
  15. For the most part, if you raise em up right they will turn out to be fine adults. Those tween and teen years are where we all made mistakes, and most of us turned out ok. Didn't we?.........
  16. It's always nice to know you got a couple up and comers hanging around. Very cool to watch them develop.
  17. Happy Bitrhday! Hope your special day includes family, friends and a cold one or two!
  18. Those guys are from the "Greatest Generation". Wish there were more around today like them.
  19. I saw the episode with B.G. and the snake skin too. NASTY! I'd rather die of thirst and give the vultures something to chew on!
  20. I can't think of one critter walking the earth today or ever that could survive a head shot from a fifty cal. Dino's were not really that tough anyway. They all became extinct!
  21. In the field behind the house,we have this one doe we call big mama. I would guess she is at least six and a half years old. Was so glad she made it through last winter. The last four years she has had triplets. This year she has a single fawn. Not really sure if it's her age or the bad winter or any other factor, her having only one this year. I have seen only one doe with twins in my area so far. And seeing only a hand full of last years fawns that made it through the winter. These observations are only close by my home. Three miles away on the farm property, it seems the deer fawns are closer to normal numbers.
  22. Amazing pictures again from you wooly! Your pictures are as good or better than any I have seen in magazines. You have a wonderful talent for capturing wildlife on film. Thanks for sharing them with us! And I also agree that you could put more than a little change in your pocket using your talent for capturing critters with a camera.
  23. Welcome, some good info and people here. Glad you dropped by!
  24. Love the name and his face! I'm sure he will be a great hunting buddy!
  25. My first girlfriend's father was an ex special forces vet. He had those crazy far away eyes. But he was a really cool guy. He sat me down before our first going out date and his eyes bored right through me when he said that all his war decorations meant nothing to him,but his "daughter"meant "EVERYTHING" to him..........I never touched her.
