Whacked a pheasant a few years ago on my way to deer hunt with a friend. When I got to the hunting spot, the pheasant was stuffed in front grille of my Honda. We had a laugh and then I pulled it out, took the breasts out and ate them for dinner after an unsuccessful deer hunt.

Have 5 of mine out for the past 6 weeks. I will pretty much guarantee that there are either out of batteries, sd is full, they are frozen or something is wrong with them. Especially the primos.

So, here's the deal. Worked at a camp in my town for a long time. My partner and I heard my boss saying that they were having a problem with kids sneaking out at night through the back gate and that they were going to make sure security went back there more often. My buddy had a trail cam in his back seat and we decided to put it up facing the road that leads to the back gate to see if we could catch kids leaving the property (and to catch deer obviously) We got some pics of bears and then we got the pic of the cat. Night pic is not great as it is a pic of a pic. Not sure if my buddy still has original. Hard to judge it's size. Based on the size of the bear, the cat is a decent size and has a very long tail. Def not a bobcat, looks bigger than house cat but much smaller than adult mtn lion.

I think I got one on trail cam in Summer 2012. Gotta find it.

Never been able to consistently catch crappy, usually just catch one in a blue moon, but when I do they are monsters. My biggest was 16 3/4" 3 lbs and I caught a few that weren't much smaller.

Never smoke 1 thing in my life and had my first cigar in July at my best friends wedding. I enjoyed it. Had another while I was on the beach at night in AC a few months later, then again at a wedding in Oct. I do enjoy from time to time.

I make gulas and ground meat out of most of my stew meat.

My friend shot an 8pt doe as his first buck a few years ago in our town. Was hard antlered.

I called in a buck with the can call yesterday. I was turned around sideways in the hang on stand looking at a path some does just took in the swamp. Well it was right at dusk and I said what the hell and hit the can call and instantly heard something running. It was in back of me. I turned my head and saw an 8 with really white antlers coming in hot. I tried to scoot around but my back kept rubbing the tree and making noise. He was onto me. I wanted to get a look at his rack before I shot but his head was mostly behind a tree. I put up my binos, and could see a bit of his rack and as I leaned over to try to see more,he saw me and ran away wheezing and screaming. Of course when he was running away I could see he was at least to his ears and definitely a shooter for me. Damnit. I will be back out this weekend and see if I can get him to come in again.

Heard about 50 shots. I sat until 10 and then from 2-dark and saw 1 big doe in the morning at 20 yards but she winded me. The other guy that hunt the property say 8 does and a half rack six. Hopefully tomorrow is good.

If you let the small bucks walk, the other hunters may or may not shoot them. If you kill them, then then definitely won't have a chance to grow big.

Love mine. Would not use anything else. I ate venison from 2 season ago recently and i would never know it was 2 years old if I had not labeled it.
