there is a rc aero club in cuba ive seen some huge rc planes flying there . always amaze me.. id love to try it but i look at what they cost and i know id crash.. Ill admit, I am afraid to fly the cessna because it is such a good looking model, but they say, If your not crashing, your not flying!! I will most likely join a club next spring. I will look into the Cuba club

I have begun getting into flyfishing... not a lot of time to do this over the summer... also, I enjoy radio control planes, preferably electric. I only have two that are flight worthy as I retired my foam trainer (its crashes so many times its not worth repairing anymore) But it has a LOT of flight time on it. My two new ones are a 52 inch? powered glider.. this is also a foamy and a 72 " cessna 182, ply and fiberglass ARF . Both have not been maidened as of yet, I got the batteries beginning of the summer but cant find the time to go out there and crash em!

Ive killed two so far with the bow.. the fires, an 8pt, was exactly 20 yds and a double lunger... the second, a good size doe was at 27 yds... perfect heart shot.

Larry.... I had the same kind of practice round yesterday also... hit the bull at 25yds then after that it wasn't great. But, the first shot was perfect and would have been a clean kill

TF... I just started 3 years ago and I kick myself for not getting into bow hunting much sooner in life... You will see more dee bow hunting than during gun season! The one thing that I will never forget for the rest of my life was the sound of a double lung hit on an 8 pointer... My first bow kill! My hat is off to all the folks on this site that helped and encouraged you to try this out... you are going to have soooo much fun out there! Good luck!

I had the same thing happen to me back in Arcade... no for sale sign, the same situation you described... except the new owner was not friendly and does not allow hunting. Now, 10 years later, no one has hunted back there and there are way too many deer around

Walked the leased property yesterday and everything is in perfect order except a tree has fallen across the main logging road... only road you can get a truck on. No chainsaw with me. I'll cut that up next weekend. Great day to walk the woods yesterday!!

I passed on the bills game yesterday. Went to the lease to check the place out... everything is good, all the stands are ready to go. I did watch the Panthers cowboys game later on though...

I am going there after work today just to take in the sights. I will let you know what I see there... sometimes I see large numbers out in the farm fields around the park.
