  1. when I type the age, I am referring to how old he will be this coming hunting season. sheesh
  2. The only bad thing about these off brand arrows is that by the time you need more, you cant get them any longer. Im still shooting a dozen Harvest Time HT2s that arent made any longer. I just got them 2 years ago lol. Great arrows but damn.
  3. Gottcha. Im looking to put in a natural gas fired one like that too. The Generacs are nice.
  4. Hey grow, check the genny I posted in the classifieds. Setup the right backfeed switch and you can run the whole house on it. You could setup a larger fuel tank for it if you wanted as well.
  5. I use the 125 Grain Montecs. Best broadhead Ive ever used. The ability to resharpen them and not have to replace blades is the best. Easy to do with a flat stone. The shot I put on a doe last year was a bit forward of where I really should have put it, but it punched through both shoulder blades and some rib bone and went into the ground 6+ inches. Head is fine, just needs sharpened.
  6. In Genesee county, 2.5, 105-110. His legs look too long to be a 3 year old to me.
  7. Uh no, not without it being completely obvious baiting.
  8. It wouldnt be growing, so youd be wasting your time. LOL
  9. My daughter has grown past her bow, so its time to get a bigger one. This bow is perfect for getting your kids started out. Its a 2010 Diamond Nuclear Ice left hand in pink digital camo. It is in as close to perfect shape as it gets, just a few light scratches on the sight housing and quiver. Its all rigged up with the fiber sight, hostage rest, peep, kisser and D loop. It also includes all 3 of the original cabon arrows. $150 Pics to follow.
  10. Dontmiss, you are 100% incorrect about Vermont. Heres their regs: http://www.eregulations.com/vermont/deer-hunting/
  11. Early, do you ever hunt food sources? Btw, stop the name calling please.
  12. My black 60 has taken over 1000 photos so far and the battery indicator hasnt budged. The other one has done hundreds of videos, and same thing. My old moultrie would have gone through a set and been half way through the second set already. The batteries Im using are the cheap ones from Dollar General.
  13. Awesome. Mine has been picking up deer vocalizations as well. Does and fawns bleating so far.
  14. 110-115ish. My buddy took a big 6 last year, had 1 less point, and not quite as long on the G2s, but much longer brows and a similar spread/mass. It scored 111 gross.
  15. BTW, if you go to wingsupply.com and look for the DLC cams, youll find the mp6 black for $149. Far better cam than the Bushnell. Heres one of our member's review of the MP6 black. phade knows his cams. http://huntingny.com/forums/topic/16796-2013-dlc-covert-mp6-black/
  16. If you are going to read reviews, go to chasingame.com and read them there. You have to take retailers reviews with a big grain of salt or two. Bushnells are generally decent cams though. The DLCs are the cats ass, and a bit less expensive than Bushnells.
  17. IMO, Youd be better off going with one of the Covert MP6 cameras for the extra few dollars. Better quality, more features. You can get them on ebay for $129 plus shipping.
  18. Yep, I always format them when I swap them out. Learned that one a long time ago haha
  19. Ive had a few. Two went back multiple times until I got tired of sending them back and tossed them. The other was a WX6 something, and was a good cam. It didnt have many features, or a good ability to be locked to a tree, so I sold it. I wont bother with them in the future, Id rather have cams with more features. JMO.
  20. Nah, I already know ill end up with 4 of them.
