Hey wdswtr, thanks for bringing that up. I have a client that breaks and soaks his phones like they are going out of style. Ill have to suggest that one to him.
-
Mine too. The last phone that I really loved was my Motorola i815
-
Not for me, still happening.
-
Yep, seen that there. Its for a deer farm to use though.

Anyone want to know the prediction for next year? I just got the 2012 calendar from D&DH in the mail. Gives all of the predicitons for next year.

Has hunting negatively affected your life at all?
WNYBuckHunter replied to Caveman's topic in General Hunting
My answer, Nope. -
Why are used single shot shotguns so much money???
WNYBuckHunter replied to 13BVET's topic in Guns and Rifles and Discussions
I still plan on buying one of those heavy barrel 12 Ga single shots to see how accurate I can get it. Would make a great stand gun. -
Im waiting to accidentally break my X until the new X3 comes out along side the iphone 5. The new X has a slightly bigger screen, 4G and front and back cameras. Its supposed to get an upgraded camera as well. Google bought Motorola's mobile phone division, so I wonder who is going to have the best Droid phone out from now on....

I dont know why, but on the main page, at the top right of the screen, my notification and PM icons do not show next to my screen name. Niether does the little drop down arrow. I can click on the areas and it works, but the icons are missing. That might just be Firefox, I havent checked on IE or Chrome.

Its $40 if you lose all of them at once. Back tag replacement is free. From DEC site... "Beginning with the 2002/2003 license year a lost license, back tags, big game carcass tag sets and turkey permits may be replaced at any licensing issuing agent for a fee of $5 per license type being replaced and $10 per Carcass Tag Set. For example, replacing a Sportsman, a Bowhunting, a Turkey Permit and a Muzzleloading license would cost $5 x 4 license types equaling $20 and $10 x 4 Carcass tag sets equaling $40. (Even though there are four carcass tags with your turkey permit, they are considered a set and would cost $10 for all four). There is no charge to replace a lost back tag."

Ive had the Samsung Fascinate, dont get it, all kinds of issues with lockups, GPS services not working properly, etc. They really screwed the pooch with their last couple of software updates. I now have a Droid X and its pretty much flawless. The Droid X2 is a little snappier with the dual core processor and additional memory. The Droid Incredible is also a good phone if you dont want the larger screen. The HTC Thunderbolt is also a great phone, and is 4G, which is nice and fast on the internet, but it is a bit on the heavy side. The new Motorola 4G Droid X replacement will be coming out soon as well. I would not take an iphone even if they paid me to. Well, maybe if they paid me.

I dont see the sense in using brown either. Youd think they would stay with red, orange, yellow or other bright colors.
-
Not unless you buy one built for cold weather use or modify one for it. You would still need to make sure your low center drains are all open when you arent using it though. Take a look at Jayco Eagles and Arctic Fox for a couple of the brands that come setup for cold weather.

I love my knife, and always double check that I have it. I have dropped it in the leaves in the dark and wasted some time with the flashlight looking for it, but its always within a few feet of the gut pile. If I ever lose it or replace it, Ill do so with one of the orange handled knives.

send letters for crossbows in NY
WNYBuckHunter replied to sits in trees's topic in NYS DEC News and Annoucements
Its possible it may change for next season. They said the law will be reviewed in 2012. If they do it early enough, and change it, it could be soon enough to go into effect for the 2012 deer season. We will just have to wait and see. -
I hunted there last year quite a bit, didnt see a ton of deer, but did see a few. Most of it is open fields and swamp, what woods are there is full of poison ivy and small game hunters are always hunting there. I did end up shooting a coyote there last year, but was unable to recover it, as it was on the ice of the creek. Its not a good spot for turkey, as the farm that surrounds it protects the fox for doing those steeple chase type fox hunts, and the fox clean any turkey and pheasant out pretty quick. If you do want to try it, shoot me a PM and I can tip you off to a few decent spots.

I have a few Comfort zone single ladders and a double ladder, a Comfort Zone hang on, Gorilla hang on, Summit climber for now. Im always adding to the stash though.

When they re-wrote the laws to add rifle into Cortland County, they did not include the crossbow in the list of weapons allowed. DEC officials for that region have already confirmed that they are indeed, illegal for Cortland county for the time being.

what happens when you pass young deer..
WNYBuckHunter replied to G-Man's topic in Trail Camera Pictures
HAHAHA my bad. -
The reason you get the either sex and doe tags with a super sportsman is because you are buying a bow license and a muzzleloader license. Sportsman does not give you either and a bow license only gives you 1 additional tag, which is the either sex.

To guess about the rut using the moon theory, you can use Alsheimer's model. Basically, it says that the rutting moon, which is the second full moon after the Autumnal Equinox, is the trigger for breeding. The peak of the seeking phase should start 3 to 4 days before the rutting moon (Nov 10 this year) and will last until 3 to 4 days after. The chase phase starts 3 or 4 days after the rutting moon and lasts into the breeding phase. The breeding phase starts about 7 days after the rutting moon and lasts for around 14 days. All of these phases and activity levels will still depend on variables, such as human pressure in the area, buck/doe ratio, temperatures and other weather conditions. You will also sometimes see a secondary rut occur about a month after the rutting moon. If you have cable or sattelite and get VS, tune into the latest installment of Deer & Deer Hunting TV for Alsheimer's predictions this year.
