  1. You just need to be off the mowed part on the side of the road.
  2. Thing is though, every shotgun shoots a little different, even the same make and/or models, so you never really know unless you test for yourself. I know slugs arent cheap though, sighting in my shotgun and patterning it has cost a good chunk of change, and Im not done yet.
  3. Someones been having a liquid lunch I see
  4. Nice! Make it in the shape of a fan and you have to wear it on your lower back too.
  5. I just use the regular safety strap. Once you get the hang of it, its pretty quiet and fast.
  6. I have a crap load to do too. Stands to put up, a stand to fix, shooting lanes. I cant seem to get a free weekend, things just get pushed on me every time I turn around.
  7. How about an alien invasion instead lol
  8. Typhoons are what hurricanes are called in the western Pacific. We already had one of those this year lol.
  9. I didnt hear any shooting this weekend. I was kind of surprised.
  10. Blue then? I didnt think of that.
  11. If you are going to spend a bit more, take a peek at Vortex as well. Great glass with a lifetime warranty. Ive seen and gotten the best deals on them as swfa.com Ill be picking one of them up for my new ML this year. Havent picked the exact scope yet. They have the Vortex Viper 2-7x32 on sale right now for $149.99 and that is Vortex's top line, so you are getting a heck of a deal. I just may order two of those for that price.
  12. What gjs said. I dont have a best stand, I have stands (or locations) for different wind conditions. You should have at least two stands per huntable feature so that you can hunt the area with different wind directions. Its not always possible to do, but it is ideal if you can.
  13. Thats a bear for sure, look at the right rear paw. Great pics!
  14. Yeah Moultries are nice. I have had this one and a D40 before that. I would like to pick up one or two of the M80s as well.
  15. I am actually going to get mine done today and then I will rewax once more before season starts. For lubricant, I use a couple of different products from Scorpion Venom. http://www.waxstarinc.com/
  16. You can get wind directions at the time by looking at the historic data from a weather site on the internet. It would be nice if they had a wind direction/speed module you could plug into the cam though. One of the cams on my list to get is the new WGI 10mp IR cam with the wifi module. You can get an app for your droid or iphone and connect to the cam from 300 feet away. You can download the pics, erase the card, etc from your phone without polluting the area with scent as long as your batteries are good. Add the external battery with a solar charger, and you have a cam that you never have to get near.
  17. Its a Moultrie I60. I like it for the most part.
  18. Dicks has a Bushnell Trophy 3-9x40 on sale right now for $99 after rebate. In my experience, Bushnells are decent. I havent had any issues with mine.
  19. Ive seen tests that people have done with the Rage, purposely letting them open at the shot or fly with 1 blade open. They will tend to be a little noisy, but the general concensus is, they wont be thrown off target. The most commonly used trick that I have heard of though, is to tie them with a piece of dental floss.
  20. Oh crap, Ithought you had been looking at the map.
  21. Yep, by appointment only. They are mostly breeders for other deer farms and hunting preserves.
