Right, I said if you were putting a bunch of apple cores, but if you toss one that you ate with your lunch? I doubt they are gonna bust your chops for that. -

Maybe instead of giving all the choices, they simplify the choice down to Yes or No, plus, make the poll online, make people enter their tag number as they vote so they can only do it once. This is yet another reason why short surveys should be required to get your license each year.

LOL Pork rinds! Get your pork rinds here!

If the guide knew what was going on, he should be charged as well. I don't know whether their state law accomodates that, but I see him as an accomplice...... If he was aware. Of course, after he drops a client off at the stand, he really doesn't know who is doing what. It's really not clear who was baiting the site, but I'll bet that the guide probably kept the site baited for his clients. Bait usually is a habitual thing for it to be effective ...... right? Doc Ah ha! Someone answered the question lol. ;D I agree Doc. From SteveB's response, it sounds like that may have happened. Ive had trouble finding anything other than 200 "news" sites reporting the cut and pasted AP story. Does anyone have any links to more info about the actual charges, case or facts?

Come on now, some will try to find anything to defend him. I wouldn't disagree that a guide, if he had one, should have pointed out what is legal and what's not. But, the bottom line is that this is Nugent's TV show, and Nugent is the one defending hunting and gun rights all over the airwaves, so ultimately it's he who will get the heat here, and rightfully so. If it were some liberal anti-gun or anti-hunting person who was caught doing something, it would be safe to say that Nugent would surely not be giving them the benefit of the doubt, even if there were some legitimate doubt. He made his bed, now he has to sleep in it I'm afraid. Im not defending him, Im asking a valid question because the guide was filming him. We all get it, you dont like Nugent. ;D

Nice! Congrats on the new bow! You may want to lower the draw weight because the easier it is to draw, the less movement it requires to draw, which is important in a hunting situation. I have lowered my poundage down below 60lbs for that exact reason. Its all personal choice though. I shoot Rage 2s, Crimson Talon XTs and this year will be shooting Grizz-Tricks. Broadheads are a matter of personal preference as well.

So who here thinks that the guide he was hunting with at the time (filming him), should have known better than to have him hunting over bait and should have let him know about the ARs in the area? Maybe the guide should hold some of the responsibility for the situation as well? Yes, I know, you should know the laws, etc. but thats not what Im asking.

using miltary ammo
WNYBuckHunter replied to sweet old bill's topic in Guns and Rifles and Discussions
I used some of the Wolf ammo in my Remington 700, it shot ok but was dirty with a capital D. I started shooting the Remington UMC rounds and noticed two things, not as many fliers and alot less residue when cleaning. The groups didnt really change all that much with the better rounds at 100 yards, but at 200 they were a few inches off. I have stopped shooting the Wolf ammo. As far as hunting with FMJs, I would rather have a hollow point or something else that will expand rather than just pass through. -
Yeah I dont think that would be legal. Something about wildgame being illegal to sell in NY rings a bell.
-
Actually, even the most liberal of fish wrappers online have been doing nothing more than calling Ted out for it. I havent seen anything directly or indirectly attacking the hunting community as a whole. Time will tell though.
