    I'm out in 8F. Bumped a few in a field on the way in and definitely overdressed for the walk in.

    Went out in a blind with my 12 yr old son tonight. We saw a flock of turkeys and then 7 does and fawns at last light.

    Deer at my place won't touch them ever. I've tried turnips, rape, radish and sugar beets. Also 8F. Too much other good stuff for them to eat

    Just before dark I had a 2.5 yr old 7 point and a button buck come by me in my swamp stand. The 7 pointer had my heart pumping for a minute but I know there's a couple bigger ones out there. Nice to see something moving.

    I have a few cell cameras at my place and they have been pretty dead for about 10 days. But last night I did get 3 bucks on camera. Hopefully its a sign of things improving.

    My wife told me to go back out too, but I know it was a test. She didn't really mean it.

    I thought I had my 12 yr old son talked into sitting with me last night but this morning he says he's too tired so I'm out on my own hoping to see something this morning.

    I shot a buck years ago down in Steuben County that I had mounted. The taxidermist found a 22 bullet under the skin in his head when he was fleshing it out. You never know what the deer we shoot have been through before we get them.

    Didn't see anything at my place last night and my cell cameras didn't get anything last night either. Might head out with a buddy at his place tonight.

    I was thinking about going out but decided to skip. Didn't get one pic all night at my place. Ill go out this afternoon instead.

    That's pretty ballsy to wave at the camera. Trespassers get me going pretty good too. You work hard to make your place nice and pass little bucks hoping they make it another year or two just to have someone else come in and enjoy your hard work.

    I bet the shooters are still there, just locked down with does. I have had same thing going on with my cams in regards to buck pics.

    I will be hunting behind my house. Which one of my spots will depend on the wind direction.

    I'll be out with my new savage 110 high country in 6.5 prc I bought this year. I opened up a heck of a shooting lane about 275 yards long for some long range shot possibilities.

    I went and checked a tripod stand I put up last week. Its flipped over. I didn't drive right up to it to check for damage. Hopefully I can just flop it up this week, and anchor it this time.
