My kids school just called it until April 14. -
NEither of those were won. I bought the hunt and moog bought the vacation during the auction. Moog and his daughter however did win 2 guns.

Great time tonight guys! My son already says he's in for next year too. He also told his mother he's going to South Africa (not so sure she's onboard with that!)

What is to eat at this tomorrow? I looked over the flyer again and didn't find it but my wife says I can't find anything. -

I bet all schools will be closed by the end of next week, if it even takes that long. -
My wife will probably make me and my son shower immediately as soon as we get home Saturday night.

Like you said... so many! The one that pops in my head first is one from back when I used to hunt in PA. I left my camp in Steuben county for my spot in Potter county PA. I got just over the border and realized I forgot my vest (along with calls and shells and license). I turned around cussing my self the whole way back to camp and then back to my lease. I got parked and grabbed my gear as fast as I could as it was getting light. I was rushing towards where I wanted to go when I heard gobbling. I got as close as I dared and set up. The Tom worked around me almost in the direction I had come from when I knew he was getting close. There was a slight rise and he was just on the other side. He went quite and I knew he was coming. After what seemed like an eternity his head popped up. I made sure it was a Tom and shot. At the shot I sprung up and saw a tom running away. I shot again and missed. I was pissed! I took a few steps that way to figure what went wrong when I saw...... a flopping tom. Turns out there were two and i had nailed the first one i shot at. I was never happier for missing a turkey as I was that I had missed on the second shot!

Both of my boys are right handed and left eye dominant. I have no idea how I could go two for two on that!

My parents are supposed to go to Ireland in about a month. They are starting to get nervous about it now. My dad says if the numbers on this thing get out of control he doesn't want to go anymore. -
When I was a kid we lived right on a creek that went out to lake Ontario. I remember the sucker spearing parties my dad would have in the spring. The guys that would come would stop by earlier in the day to drop their six packs off and leave them in the creek to be good and cold. My dad would always put his suckers in the garden and till them in for fertilizer. I went a couple times in high school and it was a lot of fun. That was over 20 years ago and probably not allowed anymore by any of the landowners.

I've gotten pics of this one the last three mornings. Also last night it was howling and barking pretty close to the house about 10. I keep thinking I'll get the motivation to take my gun and caller out one of these nights.

Looks really good. That's pretty cool to have it look just like it was when the hunter got it.

I went on a whitetail hunt in Oklahoma with this guy this fall. He does pronghorn hunts in Montana also. Me and the guys I went with had a great time on our hunt. I'm thinking about going on a pronghorn hunt with him in 2021. I think his price was 3000 for three days and all the prairie dogs you want to shoot after you tag out on antelope.

I was checking on some tree trimming and took a little walk with my dog today. I wasn't really expecting to find any antlers with the recent snow but was pleasantly surprised when I almost stepped on this one. I pointed it out to the dog and he grabbed right onto it and didn't want to let go of it.

I don't know if he had some beer before the accident, but I know he wasn't drunk.

He was in shock. He hadn't made it to the bar yet he was on his way there. He's really lucky to be alive. Super nice guy.

My neighbor found one side of one of the bucks I was after this past season this past week. The buck hadn't been spending any time on my property since January 21. I had three bucks still with antlers on my camera last night.

My son told me last night if he put his jammies on inside out and backwards he would have a snow day in the morning. Now hes going to try it all the time because it worked this time.

I've seen mostly singles, lots of doubles, once had three come out of a small sliver of woods on a drive and once had four or five come by me on an early season bow hunt. The first one I ever saw was totally black on opening day of PA gun season 20+ years ago. It was my first time hunting PA, I was young and didn't know if the season was open or not during deer season. Man did I catch hell for that back at the cabin we stayed at when the day was over. I never actually killed one until about 5 year's ago where I now live and since then I've killed a handful all during deer season.
