I made the trip a time or two to sundowners. I had a friend that was there way more than me, he would tell me he was going to heaven every time he was headed that way.

If we both sat on the back deck there could be two of us.

Just let my dogs in from the dog pen outside the house and the coyotes are lit up all around my house. Sounds like at least 3. Two were yipping in the back yard and another howling about 100 yards away. Just got this pic too

My buddy had sherriff called on him a few nights ago. He rolled up and asked him if he was coyote hunting and told him he hadn't had time to get out yet. Buddy said he was cool about it.

Good luck! -
Glad your dogs doing better. I got home from work today and the kids had friends over so my wife put the dogs in the bedroom. One of the dang labradors had gotten an unopened bar of soap out of the bathroom and opened it and chewed on it a bit!

I can still remember my grandma talking to me about compound interest and retirement accounts when I was in my early teens. Boy was she right! Also when I started my first job out of college the older guys that worked there would harass me weekly about enrolling in the 401k, at least enough to get the company match. When I first started it seemed like it hardly had anything in it then all a sudden one day I had thousands in it. Now at 40 I only wish I had put more in at 25!

Anyone have experience planting milo?
E J replied to stubborn1VT's topic in Land Management, Food Plots and QDM
I used to plant some at a property I had in steuben county. The only ag around there besides my foodplots was hay field's so the deer were hungry. It would get eaten by the deer there. The turkeys absolutely loved it. -
Nice!

Congrats! I never got to have an official father in law, he passed at 52 or 53. I was however lucky enough to be his friend from getting to know him at my uncle's hunting camp when I was 16 till he died. When I was in college close to their house (who doesn't pick college to be close to hunting camp?) before I even knew his daughter he would invite me over for a home cooked venison dinner. He was a fun guy and I wish he would have gotten to walk my wife down the aisle to me and gotten to spend time as my kids grampa.

This is my only form of "social media". I've never had Facebook and doubt I ever will. My wife gets glued to it every night and its annoying!

Same here. Cleared history and cache then it worked. -
Love to see a review on this scope after you get it figured out.

Wow! That's cool.

I have inherited some of these from my grandfather. Some of the other stuff looks like the same stuff I got at the same time too.

I know it's good, I've been spoiled in that it's pretty close to where I live so I've been taking stuff to him since I started hunting 20+ years ago.I wish they had the dill slim sticks there to try they sound good.

Dropped off some meat today for some breakfast sausage, skinless hotdogs and kielbasa. As I was leaving a huge line was forming behind me. I wish I had gotten more deer to have more meat to take.

I visited his place once and spent some time in the enclosure with him. He knew the deer in there like you know your dog. I tried to soak in as much info as I could from him. His writing is what made me really catch the deer hunting bug as a young man.

Charlie had a 35 acre enclosure at his house if that's where he followed the buck. I can't remember if that's where he did that. Before he had the enclosure he had exclusive access to a large acreage in the adirondacks where he had the deer trained like pets to let him follow them around.
