The guy I have dip mine, paints them first so they don't yellow.

Go to a few dealers and look at the options/price. Sit in them to see which one is more comfortable and fits you better. Your going to get all sorts of "buy brand X" . I think there all good machines.

One heck of a first hunt. It's usually doesn't happen that fast. Don't get discouraged if there's no sightings for a couple sits. Hopefully your luck continues. If it does, play the lottery. Lol

Well, I totally missed the crossbow part. Hence my explanation with the peep and anchor point. That said, put the cross hairs on em and send it. -

It changes the angle of your anchor point. If you drop your arm, your peep is going to be farther away from your eye, forcing you to drop your chin changing everything. Next time practicing from a elevated stand. Draw your bow like your in the ground. Drop your arm and shoot. Then try locking in position and only bending at the waist to get on target. You'll be much closer to the bullseye. -

One thing to remember is to bend at the waist. Don't lower your arm to get the angle needed. -
In crunchy dry leaves,I can pretty much tell a tree rat from a deer. Wet woods or snow covered, mostly see em first. I've got a couple stands about 100yrds from the Berkshire spur. The road noise is so loud I couldn't hear a squirrel if it was chewing on my boot. During the week, I'll bring radio headphones on stand and listen to music. Awesome place to hunt, and I've taken some fantastic bucks there, but the noise sucks.

Much bigger than that. Small ears and off to the sides of the head indicate a older large bear. Do agree the photo is horrible.

Congrats. What a great way to brighten up 2020.

Probably around 2 pm..

Very generous offer. My wife calls me a old man, is that close enough? Lol. Long way from you also. I hope you get to help a couple older members out.

Welcome aboard.

I'd like to know also. I've got a couple that are dull as nails.

Fantastic. Congrats on a great shot and buck. -
Private. Then again, I've only hunted private lands for 40 yrs. If something happened where public land was my only option, I'd probably quit hunting.

And that's why the libtards want to do away with the electoral college. NYC and California will vote in every president if that happens. Most of the votes from the rest of the country wouldn't count. -
Sportsman/Gun Owners and the election

Gosh I hope your correct. However, I really think the senate majority is in danger. If the libtards take the senate, Trump will be impeached the day after the inauguration. -
In southern zone, not without a DMP. Your regular tag reverts to a either sex during late bow, muz, if not filled during rifle season.

I'd rather check it now and fix any issues then to find out it needs help the day I'm planning on hunting it.

Welcome to the circus. What part of the state do you hunt?

Has anyone used one of those heaters in a blind?
mowin replied to Sir-diealot's topic in General Hunting
We use them all the time Ice fishing. There fairly stable. Never had one fall over unless it was bumped. The safety kicks in if it tips.
