Someone i work goes every year he loves and says its pretty cheap compared to other hunts. He says its a blast he shot his the second morning last year and then they set him up for free to shoot prairie dogs for a couple day. Good luck if you end up going.

Heres a link to the bridge history and more photos. https://bridgehunter.com/ny/chenango/bh52745/ its marked as a new york state historic sight with one of those blue signs.

This bridge was built in 1894 i beileve that picture is the first train to cross it. If you look through the trees that is my parents house for the last 30yrs and my uncles 20 yrs prior. That little windo is the attic anf to get to it you had to go through my bedroom which is on that side of the house. The picture is taken from my aunts meadow that they've owned for 40yrs. The old bases are still in the brook and the old tracks used as the snowmobile trails. You can also find old pieces of the track.

Whats everyone using for arrow inserts? Ide like to have from 100-150grains worth of insert weight. Ive been looking at the goldtip since i can screw in extra weights in the back to adjust. I bought my arrows went with the victory arrows elite was selling because of the sale there having. But its the spine and around the weight i wanted. Ive also decided to go with the magnus blackhornet. -
My sisters down there for elite. She always has a blast meeting other reps and the people walking around.

Anybody shot either one of these? My friend and me are going bow shopping here soon atleast for him. He likes the short axel bows so he wants to shoot the valor. Figured ide go take a look at these 2. Brother also is ordering a Valor.

600 was max. Just a couple you tube videos stated 9-10grains per pound of draw length. Thats why i asked you guys. I think ide like to be 430-500. Thats why im starting now. Going to be alot of trial and error this off season. -
So i decided for next year to go heavy with the heads on my arrows. Ive got a couple in mind already just want to see if anyone has pros and cons for them. Maybe what to be careful of going heavier. 2 blade?3blade?4? Shooting a bear charge 28" draw usually shoot 29" arrows at 60lbs(havent checked to get accurate number, bow is maxed out.) I keep reading 10grains of arrow weight per 1lb of draw so 600ish grain arrows? I have been shooting radial weave 300 with stock inserts, knock and 100 grain head. Side note i will also be changing up arrows. Really like the looks of the Zwickey especially being able to resharpen and reuse. Thanks for the input. Choices so far 1)magnus stinger 2 blade with 100 grain with extra weight up front to get it closer to 150 or more. 2) magnus black hornet 2 or 4 blade 100 grain 3)Zwickey Eskilite 2 blade screw in 135 grain. 4)nap thunderheads 125 grain.

Good for you getting your son into hunting. I cant wait to follow this.

That one is black base, with gray, white and black dip.

Brother wanted a couple deadheads done so here is the first one. Final picture looks better in person.

I etch my number into each stand. Bottom sticks always come out with my hang on setup, along with climber unless ill be back in the next day. If i set up a stand for all season i try to get them tucked up into a pine tree to hide them better.

Congrats crappy. -
If it felt like a cactus it was probably a spruce. They are good for doing that. I always try to stick to a fraiser fir or balsm fir. Softer needles and tend to stay longer. Theres also one that smells like oranges called the concolor fir.
