It is a great series. I havent watched pursuit or sportmans since i started watching them. You wont regret watching them. Their summer series are usually pretty good about scouting and using topo maps.

Yea it can be if you can get into the right spots. It reminds me a bit of up north with alot of pine forest and thousands of acers of stateland but a higher deer population. My bil usually takes a nice 8 every year on one piece when he come up from pa. 2 years ago he shot a 6 that was 17 inches wide. I think this year opening day he saw 25 -30 all does but 2 spikes.

It was weird just within hrs he went to crap. But the vet said its common when dogs get it that they can be fine in the morning and by lunch youde think they are dying. But she wasnt kididng how quick he would feel better jumped right off the couch ang got to the door before i did to go outside this morning.

After a 1 dose of meds hes already 10 times better then before. For flea and tick treatment we have always given him frontline with no issues but this year my wife bought something else cant remember,i also give him a flea/tick bath every 2 weeks from may until october then once a month. Told my wife he will be getting the good stuff from the vet from now on just to make sure we dont go through this again.

Theres seems to always be one taken in mcdonough,oxford or afton areas every year. Ive personally known 3 guys in the area that have taken one within the last 5 years.

My dog the last 18 hrs went from acting a little tired to not walking. Got home from work this morning and he was stuck in the couch. Not really weird if you no danes or him they are a bit clumsy. So he got up finally little slow but went out. Daughter hugged him goodbye before school as normal and said he felt warm. I just blew it off. Well got up this afternoon and did my normal routine. When i got into living room he was whimpering and moaning lying on his side. So I tried to get him up and outside. Wouldnt you know he couldnt walk, shaking even had a hard time keeping his head up. So off to the vet for a checkup. Bad case of lymes disease, temp of 107 when normal supposed to be 102. I have no idea when he got bit. Never found one on him all year. So now hes on heavy meds for a month and hope he has a full recovery. Just so you know not easy caring a 110lb dog that doesnt want to be touched. Lol

Not bad 5 for chenango this year. I know were theres one been hanging out since last august. hoping hes still there next year ill be putting some more time into that piece of stateland next year hoping to atleast see him.

Good for you nothing like a quite house once in awhile. I told my wife when we got together i dont do valentines day its such a bs day.

I like my cheap stuff some black velvet or seagrams 7 both mixed with ginger ale. My grandmas favorite drink and now mine. But only around christmas time and maybe 2 or 3 times throughout the year.

They can be very addicting i only have 3 but want a couple more. The only one that stung a little was on my calf but it just wraps around enough to touch my shin bone and when he got to that point is when it stung.

Im in the process as well. Picked up victory vap elites. Going with 29 or 29.5 inch arrows at 8.7gpi, magnus black hornets(100grain accidently i meant to order 125s), and then going 150 grain gold tip brass inserts. Might end up only needing 100 grain. So i should be between 460-515 when all said and done if my math is correct. Which should give me a higher foc and will be alot heavier than previous setups. This is out of a 60lbs 28inch draw.

Yes. I went to the trophy ridge react. I love it i doubt ill ever go back to a multi pin. That was the same thoughy i had once i shot it a couple times.

Not alot but when i stopped at the one in norwich they had blood sport arrows .004 straightness tolerance $20 for 6. Be a good arrow for a beginner or anyone that doesnt like dropping 120 on a dozen. Also had mossy oak drop away rest for 15. Picked one up for my wifes bow since she doesnt shoot alot so it should last. Couple seat cushions for 3 and 5 dollars.

I do agree alot do get tags just for bfs or husbands. However saying that my daughter has about 5 or 6 girlfriends that hunt including her(ages 14-17). I know 3 took deer this year, and 2 shot turkeys. From what i see its the younger women helping the numbers atleast in my area.

I agree an outdoors person will enjoy it here (minus taxes and king andy). Otherwise it can be boring thats why my sister likes the rochester area.

Nice looking pup. Ive been wanting one of these for awhile. Wife says no more dogs or cats until the ones we have are gone. I hear they are trainable to hunt multiple types of game. Is he going to be a house dog or hunting partner as well?

I was getting a new to me bow every couple years. But they were all really cheap and never felt right. The bow ive got now is going on 3 yrs(for me) and bought it fully setup with case for 100. Only issue i have is it likes to jump forward so if im not set i no because it wants to go. Hoping next year to swing for a new elite. Ive only bought 1 bow brand new and that was 12-15 yrs ago.

Saw a big flock of toms/jakes gobbling in a field yesterday driving home. Had to of been 10-15.

I was thinking the same thing. Hancock is a small town. Wish it was possible to get a better law passed to protect hunters and our rights since we have become a major minority in this country.

Just read he died in a helicopter crash. Not a big NBA fan but that is a big loss to the sports world.
