  1. Put in some apple trees Corey bought at our hunting spot. Did a little turkey scouting while I was there and put up a couple cams. Some good sign, tracks and a dust spot by the looks of it with feathers. Heard a hen while I was out there. Lost my best turkey spot so gonna give a go here. See some on occasion so hoping one comes thru. Gotta get this stuff done before fishing season.
  2. I run our drug testing program. Won't change anything for us. So many parts per million are already allowed. Plus what we do it for is a federal license so same rules. Companies do not have to have a zero tolerance so they can change that wording for marijuana if they wish. But most of our guidelines are outlined by the feds.
  3. Would be cool to make a fire pit out of the concrete that your grandfather poured.
  4. Happy birthday @First-light Looks like you got a great day for birthday! 80s in April! Enjoy.
  5. good luck and hope it works out. Def a good time to take on a new career change and that field will always have a need for more.
  6. in texas you can shoot hogs from a helicopter with a machine gun! Merica! https://www.helibacon.com/texas-helicopter-hog-hunting/
  7. Too busy passing important things like marijuana legalization and covid restrictions to be bothered.
  8. We have a bunch out here. One fell down in a Windstorm. Lol. They shut them down for a whole year to go thru and inspect them all. Seeing a ton of solar farms going in now. Better for the environment???? They destroyed several beautiful fields that used to be full of deer and turkeys. They should be spending the money on research into fusion.
  9. Venison jalapeno sausage, cheesy grits and eggs over. Bionic potato topper.
  10. Happy Easter Verona beach style.....yes it's Easter Bunny on an Airboat!
  11. I just tie it on the line direct and jig it with the current. Sometimes right on the top like a fly. On 4lb can cast it pretty well. For small streams they are perfect. I like the gold flake the best.
  12. More brush cutting today. Getting there at the hunting spot widening trails. Then came home and cut a tree down that has grown up against the fence. Break time . But got a lot done and covered in sawdust so it's was productive. Look close at second pic can see the treestand to the left tucked in there. Also used the last of the clover I had for frost seeding.
  13. I had to get the 10 boards and replace some of my fence frame sections but the deck is def gonna wait. Esp since I am doing some foundation work this year that needs to be done. Hope you are right and it comes down. It's a small deck out back as I have a stone patio but didn't want to drop a grand into a small back porch and stairs.
  14. We are doing the same this year. Frost seeded a bunch of clover in some of the trails. Where we did this soil is pretty good so hoping it takes. Then putting in some small plots end of July, beginning of August and going to use a tow behind ATV plow to dig up the ground. Then rake and seed it. Using a honey hole mix in one spot and the other a W.I. mix and a spot of radishes.
  15. I spent $100 the other day and got 10 2x4s. Crazy. Was going to redo my deck this year but gonna wait and see if prices come down a little. Plus I have several big house projects this year. But hard to believe one pressure treated 2x4 is $10.
  16. Right or is even able to get thru deep snow. Amazing how tough they are
  17. Nice to see made another winter.
  18. Venison steak bites, corn on the cob. Obviously not local corn but saw it at store and couldn't resist.
