Wasn't having a hard time with the term "cupcake". Was just putting the rest of weapons in your terms. And speaking as a fat guy cupcakes are right up alley. Lol. Just playing along. Use whatever works for you. But deer harvest numbers are up to the DEC. And from your first post you obviously have something against people that use crossbows. I killed two deer with my bow this year and one with the gun. Never had an opportunity with the xbow. So I have to disagree that my numbers take would be so different. And a couple of years ago in 2018 I killed two deer with my xbow that I also would have killed with my compound. So my deer take wouldn't have changed at all then either. And in 2019 I didn't get anything and toted the xbow and even took most of it off to hunt. I enjoy using all the weapons and seasons, a dead deer is a dead deer. My buddy got one with the crossbow and I didn't tell him how easy it was. I certainly do like the xbow more in certain situations and would use it a lot in archery if they opened it up the whole season. But if they don't I am happy with my bow. And I guess then I would be able to have my cupcakes and eat them too! I think dedicated archery is a great challenge, but I really don't care what other hunters use as long as it's done legally. Let each person determine their own legal means to hunt that applies to them the best.

So if you ok with someone using a shotgun (Bundt cake) during archery why the issue with someone using a crossbow (cupcake)? Do you hunt with a compound (muffin) or traditional (biscuit) Same arguements were made for compounds.

You can use the property lines on huntstand for free. They give you ten free then you have to wait 30 days and you get ten more free. I use it all the time. It's under the "parcel" info.

Question is why do you care if other people use a crossbow if it's legal? Use a bow all of rifle season no one cares. Hunt with whatever implement you want as long as it's legal it shouldn't matter or be ypur concern. I hunt with bow, crossbow, gun and muzzleloader cause I personally like them all. And I don't need the govt to tell me I have to use one or the other but I will still abide by the rules . But why do you care if someone hunts with a crossbow if it becomes legal to do so? Does it matter if an arrow or a bolt goes thru the deer and both kill it? I know quite a few people that struggle with the compound bow for shoulder issues due to age and injury and also younger hunters that struggle to get to a decent draw weight but they would also like to hunt the archery season. But they can't because you don't like crossbows?

My 83 year old mother votes Democrat, likes venison, likes to fish and doesn't want to take any of your guns away. God she is evil. Lol. I vote libratarian or conservative except when I am so frustrated I can't vote for any of them cause they are all terrible and I am also not the problem for gun owners. And my other point that 2A isn't the only issue out there to be worried about and to me it isn't #1 right now with so many issues out there that are so big. Yeah it's a bit frustrating when people want to argue with you and tell you your a problem when they can't understand for some reason we actually agree on about everything. I guess reading a full post is too much these days. When in reality all I proposed is that people think differently than them and stating that I DON'T agree with those people MULTIPLE times but I try to understand where they come from and yet somehow it is me??? Lol. Anyway gone from this section yet again. Maybe to return another day. But not soon. I really should know better by now, so no one to blame but myself. Back to hunting,fishing and dinner threads for me.

I've answered all of those questions above earlier. I guess I just need to bail again on the political section. If people don't take the time to read what is there then ask what I've already explained twice. I tire of repeating myself. Esp when several people can't grasp that they want to argue about things we actually agree on. Just cause I will answer those in short . -I don't believe any gun law would have stopped that guy. I think your referring to the latest mass shooter? - I'm talking about conspiracy theories on both the left and right that people think "they" are out to get them. Read above for more reasonable possible options -yes i agree many Dems set a picture of it that way . When you get time read what I wrote earlier . I give up trying to explain it further. In my posts my main point was to listen and try to understand others , and most can't even do seem to understand when a person agrees with the same base beliefs but is able to listen to others as well. I leave the echo chamber for now.

Enforcement and strict adherence to multiple current laws, gun and otherwise, would keep a great amount of the repeat offenders from being able to do it again or go on to commit further or worse crimes as they would be incarcerated longer than a couple of months or given an appearance ticket. Considering 1-2% of the population commit the most crimes with guns and have committed previous other crimes. This would lessen the need for people to think they need to make further gun restriction laws. I would like a consistent pistol permit qualification and application process.

I gotta think your just not reading what I wrote. But that's ok. Exactly where did I go along with the Democrats....maybe you could point that out. Since I've voted all libratarian or conservative , I can't think of a Dem I've voted for in years, I've been an NRA member, I'm pro bill of rights and constitution. So where exactly is it that I am going along with Democrats and I am the problem..... Because I don't believe in wild conspiracy theory? Or just because I don't agree with you? I don't think your the problem and I am sure we vote pretty much the same line. As a matter of fact I prob vote more than you do on the libratarian line of less laws. Where you prob stay more on the Republican line I'm guessing. So enlighten me on what problem I am part of? That I get the other sides argument while not agreeing with it? If you've read my posts I have well stated I am not for banning anything including guns. What I have stated is that so many Republicans have a blind spot that they can't or won't try to understand where others are coming from and how they see it. Which you seem to be knee deep in that category. Which is also a weakness of the party to not understand the thoughts they have behind their theory's. Which once again I don't support either.

exactly my own point earlier. One of the 23 things i am more worried about. A women in sysracuse was murdered and DA Fitzpatrick was on TV saying how the suspect "had been arrested May, June, July, August, August, August, September and then was released early for good behavior" a month later commited murder. And there is nothing he could do about it. makes me sick. and how you think i am sticking my head in the sand is beyond me. I kinda give up trying to make a couple of people here understand i side with the standard of beliefs they have only difference is I dont see the conspiracy theories. I would bet you and i vote down the same lines 9/10 times. I just dont buy into the organized "they" . I beoive its for other culteral reasons that again i also dont believe in. I hope that makes sense. and if you dont see that both sides do the exact same fear mongering i only have my head in the sand looking to pull you out....

lol too late ..... I will jump out of the politics section again soon. I should know better i do this to myself. But once in a while i like to dabble. Until people get nasty which ALWAYS happens. If people took the time to look at how others think and how much they actually agree on, wouldnt it be a wonderful world...lol that being said i like to read this section often until it gets ridiculous or mean or petty. I have to say i have learned a few things here myself. But it gets ugly so often- as they say - religion and politics. Never afraid of some different views until you get the great one sentence rebuttals. Ive learned that smart people arent always in agreement.
