Parker Thunder hawk with muzzy fixed 100g broadheads, 20" red-hot bolts, lighted capture nocks. Best part of this rig is that the scope was made just for this xbow. It has 4 lines each set for 20,30,40,50 yards. Parker is no longer in business which is a shame as I really like this rig. Already tested for the season. Not sure. But I was just referring in general. Give these active duty vets 10k for their service. To use on bills, debt, etc. Rather than paying for people that willingly signed agreements to take on debt for a degree in anything from animal husbandry to zoology. Makes no sense that a plumber or a single mom working at a coffee shop has to belly up to pay for a physicians assistant or an engineers degree with their tax dollars. I'm hoping it gets blocked as unconstitutional. But your right surely wouldn't be surprised to see it happen again. Esp right before the next presidential election. IF the govt was to spend this amount how bout forgiving 10K of debt for all who served active duty? This is just another ridiculous scheme. And may in fact they already know it will be deemed unconstitutional then they can claim--- oh we tried but the Rep and the Supreme court wouldnt let us. Vote them out and pack the court and this wouldnt happen. -- Can def see them using this as a tactic for Votes

i planted carrots last year and didnt this year cause my garden is small and they take up some room for the yield you get .

i would just put them in as is as long as you have room. Be sure to space them out with enough room to grow and the other plants arent blocking all the sunlight.

So about calling....... My plan is to put out decoys get behind a blind and hope for the best. Or even jump shoot a day or two without anything other than the shotgun. Is calling all that important? Esp bad calling. lol I dont want to call and sound like Gilbert Godfried or something that scare them off more than attracts them. Ive practiced a little and to me i sound like a duck.

I'm in his corner on ice fishing. Been a few times and def thought it sucked each time. Much rather have the fish fry at the legion then be out there on some ice. Ice fishing is the Lacrosse of the outdoor sports.

carrot seeds are $2 a packet , prob on clearance now for .99. Plant em and see what happens - why not?. They wont need any attention so easy peasy.

I never cared for them to eat. It was better smoked but I used to give it all away. 3 -25 #salmon was a lot of fillets. I would have someone ask for salmon and give them like 50 lbs. I always thought it was kinda dumb to have to catch a fish in the mouth that isn't eating and is going to die anyway. But I think they felt they had to do something to tame the crazy treble hook snagging. Will they hit something....yes out of reflex they will on occasion. I was so good at it that I could float it right into the mouth or across the mouth if I could see them. Used to joke with my buddy that he had 3 shots and I was gonna take him. If your floating a fly they often breathe those in. But many times the line will just catch in the mouth then you hook them. I've caught some nice browns while salmon fishing that def took the bait. Same one I did a link for too. Lol. Def agree on the seat. I carry one on my pack. Squirrel damage is also one of the reasons all of my stands have multiple straps and get changed every year. I bought a few ameristep stands a couple years ago and they were my favorite. I have a hard time finding them now but they support my 260# ass for many years and killed deer for years out of them. I am not a fan of the ones that have the nylon seats, I'd rather have the steel seat. I carry a seat pad attached to my hunting pack. I haven't bought the 1.5 ones but always had enough room in a one man. I setup all my stands where the prime or most expected trail I can shoot sitting down. But I've had no issue with room or standing. I put three straps on each one. One at the brace, one on the foot platform and one up top. I also use pipe insulation over the shooting rail and wrap that with camo duct tape. Love ladder stands, we have 10 setup on our property. im not so sure i dont like the self checkout better. No one complains when i feel like some of my stuff should be free for my trouble. Kidding..... But really the other day i used a regular checkout and the gal was more than happy to bag everything , which was great, until the raw pork went in with the lettuce, and a bag of tortilla chips was in the bottom. yeah.....just let me do it. lol

My chest freezer is basically for wildgame. I have different things in bags and labeled. "Fish '22", "Prime venison", "Venison burgers", etc. But always seems like what I want is in the bottom bag of 15 different bags. Lol. It's not a huge one either but does hold a years worth of walleye, 2.5 processed deer and some homemade sausage. Hoping it also holds 8-10 ducks too! maybe down there might be. Up here i would def say its too late. 60 days minimum puts you at the end of october and we will def have frost by then here. For a late season crop i would do green onions or swisschard. But why not try it. Worst that happens is your out a pack of $2 seeds.
