    thats such great news! Hope he downs one just to top off the day. My Dad was really sick for a while and we didnt get to fish for quite a while and he loved to trout fish. He was feeling pretty well one day and we went to Chittenango crick close by. He stayed byt he bridge and i went of down the crick a ways a caught a couple of small browns. I come back and he has two big browns with the tails sticking out of the creel and never went a 100 yards. Wont ever forget it.

    i just pound a steak with a heavy knife a few times and it works well. I like cube steaks with some mushrooms and Mozz in a toasted roll with horseradish. I usually make these with a couple of the tougher steaks, usually from the front shoulder, that you get that arent from the prime cuts.

    Went to use my pizza stone on the grill and it broke. So made sausage bread instead. If anyone is working on my Christmas list yet a pizza stone will be at the top.     making pizzas on the grill this weekend with the pizza stone. Making smoked sausage and spinach with a white sauce, the other a light tomato/olive oil sauce with garlic chicken sausage and roasted red peppers. Italian cheese blend for both.

    we were wonderign if we are gonna have to mow trails again before season. But without any rain its looking like we may not have to. We have clover in a lot of the trails that was looking pretty good.

    Wish I didn't have to get up at 4am for work. Maybe will see them then though. I saw them once over the lake years ago in October and it was a great show.     My chest freezer pisses me off- hate digging thru the damn thing to find what I want. I need an upright but not willing to spend the $ when I already have a freezer now.     1- cell phone. That has a hunting app that shows my wind, a weather app that I can check out for incoming storms and wind direction changes, a compass app that has come in handy a couple times, a flashlight, the ability to call a buddy for help with a blood trail or a injury. And I can BS on this site or take pics of something while hunting. Etc 2- range finder if a bow hunter 3- lighted nocks 4- heated vest and hand warmers 5- a bow - cause bow hunting is just the best.
