  4. really looking Bionic with that one buddy. Glad it finally came in. This one have any upgrades in tech or is it similiar to what your used to. Got to imagine there is a learning curve to figure out use of a new one.
  5. X2 on the golfing - Inlet course in the fall is beautiful. Ive tried a little early bear up there in the Indian lake area but never seen any. A lot of land to find a few bears esp with no prior scouting and not living up there. Moose river plains def has some and some nice trout fishing as well. Pick a trail to a lake or stream off the map and walk the trail with a pole and a rifle might be a good day and might see a bear by chance. Check in at the ranger station and they will give you a map. I used to fish lost ponds and icehouse ponds a bit. But mostly the streams thru there. I was fishing sumner stream there one time with my nephew and we saw tracks and a big pile of bear scat. Caught a few trout and there was a guy standing on the bridge when we got back. He says "you never saw it did you?" I said whats that ??? He said there was a bear walking the stream about 50 yards ahead of you . He was laughing cause he said we would go up to fish a hole and the bear would move up the stream too. Between the noise of the crick and the thick brush never knew he was there except for the tracks.
  6. looks like a fine day and not sweating your ass off. Nothing wrong with a smallie or a rocky on the end of the line!
  7. The best spot on our lease is 150 yards from where we park. And dunno howany times we've come out from hunting and deer are 50 yards from our vehicles. Def gotta hunt where the deer are, doesn't hurt to put a stand up and try it. Looks awesome.
  8. Lol. Yeah he felt the need to bark at you, Prob cause you took his spot in the the boat.
  9. Hopefully a treestand 20 yards away from that top pin alley those bucks are using! Nice and good luck.
  10. Posted some pics before, but here's another. My best buddy Charlie! Loves some fishin.
  11. I once hit a real deer in the horns. I was actually looking for a doe I shot the eve before and I look out on the field egde and here is two bucks. I grunt and they come my way . So I draw back and a basket 8 is there well just as I let it go he turns his head down and the arrow stuck right between the beam of his horns. It must've stuck a bit in the one side and he runs off with my arrow across his horns. Lol a freak thing for sure . I was so dialed on a kill spot he mustve moved his head to turn towards his body. Was waiting to hear from other guys that hunt there about a buck running around with an arrow in it's horns but never heard again about it. I'm sure he dropped it off somewhere. And yes I found the deer I was looking for too.
