    Dropping off flowers outside at my Mom's house today. Thing is by now she can always leave them outside. Not this year.

    Trying to drain down my fuel tank so I can move it to repair bricking it sets on. Was thinking I might not be able to until fall. At this rate it might be done in the summer. Next weekend forecast is for 70! I have this Wednesday off so that might be my last turkey hunt. 70 means fishing.

    Sounds fabulous. I will prob try shopping for one in a field at sunup tomorrow. A turkey that is, but if a rhubarb pie shows up it's in play too.

    Oneida lake fish fry tonite. Gonna be eating fish for three days. Pretty much cook them the same these days - house of Autry seafood breader and Creole seasoning without using an egg wash. Comes out great.

    From what I hear they were caught on the south shore. I know there are lots of streams that run in but like you said never heard of brookies being caught . Buddy fishing with me got a nice brown one day when we were out, but this is certainly different.

    Thought this was pretty cool. Last couple of weeks on Oneida lake Diehards site a couple of guys have caught big brookies out of Oneida. Have seen and heard of browns a few times but never brookies and there's been two. Really odd and awesome . Some are saying the clarity of the lake from zebra mussels. Also a few big ole sturgeon have been caught in the canal.

    Every weekend on the way to camp my Dad would stop and get a case of Bud longnecks and steaks for the grill like clockwork.

    Tried to buy a turkey for that this weekend as well. Wasnt a single one in the store. And was going into another store just for that. But perfect weekend for a turkey dinner.

    Haven't had pizza since mid March. So since there's a meat shortage I of course got a meat lovers!

    I refuse to use a bobber while fly fishing. I've threatened to shoot people's out of the water if they use one. It like going out to dinner at a fancy restaurant and bringing spam in your pocket. No.

    thats about how my buddy hunts them. He drives down the road to see if they are out in the field by his house. lol He isnt much into turkeys.

    snow and 30 MPH winds tomorrow - well at least no one will know there is a full moon. Think i am waiting til sunday. Wish i was out there today for sure - looks great
